Why do you suppose they are afraid to go to the agencies?..or the police? Is there some kind of history (basis for their fear)?

Funny but it seems you are the only one writing in this manner. I answered all your questions and when you don't get the answer you want you ask again in another way, just like the MMPI. Or if I add something you say it's contradictory. All I am doing is relaying what has been told to me, all the stories are different I will admit but in the end they all point at the same guy. As for my boys little by little they are saying more and more. But, to tell you the truth before I knew about this whole thing which wasn't until October of 2010 my boys had said nothing until I brought it up to them. That puzzles me, that for 6 and a half years they never even mentioned anything especially where one of my sons thrives on gossip. But when my oldest is married to his ex-niece and they both say think he did it I believe them. I was told this whole situation is why his ex-wife left Woodsville and moved over here to VT. What's your take do you think she was abducted and murdered or do you think she wanted to disappear? There are so many what if's out there that is why I never released his name, but I do know this when the police asked to search his place of employment his fathers business they were denied access. My opinion if you're not guilty why not let them look.

That might be true in fact I know you're right just a certain someone on here is getting on my last nerve and is pissing me off. He's more concerned with starting fights than he is actually discussing MM.

Thanks for the info. I'll keep your # if you don't mind and may call you at some point. I do know that he is currently married to the County Atty. which makes things a bit sticky with no real proof of anything, so I need to tread carefully and think about how we need to deal with this info.

I believe the one born in July '66 was married to V__________ who now lives in St. Albans. They divorced and I thought he was the one who married L________ who is the Grafton County Attorney. Wouldn't he be the Jr. or does he have a son named Richard? Think I just answered my own question. V________ seems to have a son named R______, but he seems as though he would have been too young 7 years ago???

Do you know when the NH SP first had contact with Maura's case? I keep running across discussions about a NH state trooper having been at the accident scene. Yesterday I read another discussion about this....that a trooper had stopped by the accident scene. Other than mention that he was at the scene, no one seems to know what time he was there. From everything I've read, it was the local police department that initially took charge of the accident scene, etc.as an officer was there first. Given that many of these missing person and/or murder cases involve an abandoned vehicle with no driver in sight maybe it would be of some benefit to treat the vehicle and the immediate area as a potential missing person and/or crime scene. I realize that this would mean a lot of extra work and expense, but consider all of the man/woman hours of work involved in these cases when someone is later determined missing or murdered. Consider the emotional aspect as well.

From what I heard they did show up to the initial scene but at that time Haverhill handled the call. I'm not sure when but eventually they did take over the case and went to an aunts house in Hanover, MA to recover some of MM's items that had been returned to the family by Haverhill and the car. I don't know where it went from there. All I know now is it is with the NH Cold Case Unit.

So Maura is supposedly buried under some concret slab in Benton?

I have become accustomed to reading this thread every couple weeks because nothing is going on accept personal attacks. It is shocking to arrive and find all this! I have no idea what to make of it all except the vein of truth here is that from the beginning, Mauras disappearance was doomed to be swept under the carpet, so to speak. This is just my opinion.
