I watched the "Disappeared" episode again last night. One of the things that I still find really surprising was that none of the investigators called the condo owner in Bartlett. That should have been done the instant the telephone records became available, yet the number wasn't called until eight months after her disappearance, and then it was by Billy Rausch's mother, not LE. That is so incredibly inept - no wonder Fred Murray was pissed off.

They should have searched east and didn't do that either. To assume she went west because she came from that way is absurd. She very well may have gone west but you can't assume anything. LE would only have to go a few miles east as she had started on foot approx 9-10 min before LE got to the scene.

When I am referring to blame the family I am talking about all the attacks on Fred for knocking on doors and doing whatever he could do to find his daughter. Fred had little faith in the NHSP and local authorities and I can't blame him for feeling that way. Fred was frustrated with the search not going east as well as the Bol not going east.I have heard endless beatings from the so called Snowy camp battering Fred and the family members that searched the area for maura.Oh - they are blaming the locals - Oh they caused my dog to through my glass slider- oh he walked on my lawn- oh they killed SBD. Utter bull crap.

hmmm - If I am mistaken, then, I apologize. Yes, Jenkins, for sure, has mentioned McKay. Jenkins has also questioned FM's availability immediately after it was determined she had gone missing....and he has pretty much covered all possibilities for his thinking out loud in a stream of consciousness format.
At this point, it's unclear to me where he has landed on any particular issue.

Thank you Shack. I was reading the police log & saw the 911 emergency call to Lime Kiln Rd @ 2120hrs (9:20pm). I recognized the name of the school as a former aquaintance was employed by Becket. But I've never known the school's actual location. Only that it's in the Haverhill/Pike area. According to the log, the youth was reported to have walked off while on work detail. The school has staff to watch over the students 24/7. They would have noticed him missing fairly quickly. The staff would have started searching the grounds & branched out from there. That could take awhile. I'm guessing the work detail was most likely kitchen duty or barn chores (if they have one). I was trying to determine if it was feasible for some of the possible sightings attributed to Maura to have actually been the Becket student. Specifically, the sighting on BHR where it was reported they ran away. This could also explain one or both of the red truck sightings. Becket schools has offices in MA. So possibly some of their vehicles are registered in MA.

JWB- Forgive me if this has already been discussed. I've only seen it touched on briefly in an old forum by Det Columbo. Do I understand you correctly? LE was assisting in the search for the Becket Student "before" the 911 emergency call when they located the youth on Lime Kiln rd?

Hi DLL- I have never heard of the Becket School incident only the youth on Lime Kiln Road. What I had alluded to was an older man (poss suicide attempt) in the area and was taken to littleton Hosp. This took place prior to Mauras accident and JKM said he was in Lisbon at the time if they needed him. I want to say this info is in the Lisbon logs.

OK found it.

If you are so concerned about people helping to find Maura then why aren't you out in the woods looking for something, anything. There's no proof she didn't go into the woods just as there's no proof that she did. Why aren't you doing something besides arguing with and bullying the posters here and telling them how much they don't care?
What makes a grown married man spend his nights and days pounding the keyboard, threatening posters, arguing,ranting and making a complete as* out of himself over a missing woman that he never met.

Do any of you think she might have driven there to get away from stress and then someone took advantage of her?

By the way Grampa Wowzer, I appreciate your concern as to what I do with my time, but I have it under control. You ask what have I done to help? I only really became aware of Maura being missing within the last 2-3 years. I became interested as I kept passing the blue ribbon in order to get to a new business account in Woodsville. I did a google search and then started to educate before ever posting.

I have contacted the NHSP once and the Cold case unit twice with information. I have also given Mr renner ample info from research done by myself and others (off of this forum). I also continue to smell a rat in an agenda on this forum and I don't plan on stopping any time soon.

Thank you for clarifying that .I didn't realize that they were the same occurrence. The Sheriffs dept and local authorities were very busy for a Monday night I believe JKM to be trooper #615 from what I have been told and he was in the Lisbon area around 7:18,
