Wowzer the real one wrote: <quoted text> Oh my! You are not a very nice person. If it's so bad where your family lives and they are telling you it's bad living there then why don't you get them out of the Woodsville area instead of bi*tching about the area and the people. I'm not a nice person? Why because I'm not afraid to speak the truth about Woodsville. Two of my sons did live with me one year each while I was in Florida, and one of them and my oldest spent 2 years each living with me in MA. That town has ruined them, when my sons lived with me they got great grades played sports and never got in trouble. While in Woodsville they except for the one in college started smoking weed and drinking. My oldest didn't graduate or get his GED and is always getting in trouble with HP, the next one barely graduated, and my youngest is still trying to graduate and is going to charter school, all he talks about is smoking weed. But, if he ever brought it here around I would arrest his ass. When he graduates he is coming to live with my wife and myself. As far as them getting out of there they are now adults and can make their own decisions, one has already left and is at college and when he graduates he has no intention of returning other than to grab his things and go. My ex-wife is leaving as soon as she possibly can also, she said moving to that place was the worst decision in her life aside from marrying me. It's not all the people there, but there are quite a few there that fit into the category including my own children.

Snowy wrote: <quoted text> since there are few answers, even 7 years later, it seems unreasonable to have expected the police to have made an immediate determination about who was driving the saturn and to have known the driver's or passenger's whereabouts following a non-threatening crash. there was no evidence of foul play, an abduction or a homicide. it was only on reflection that anyone, including Maura's father, could suggest what "should have" happened in the aftermath of what appeared to be a possible dui. it is not uncommon for a car to breakdown, and for a driver or passenger to seek help by calling a friend or relative to assist. it's not uncommon for cars to be parked or abandoned on highways when mechanical difficulties are assumed. it would not be uncommon for a driver to approach the nearest house after a collision to request the use of a landline, or for shelter while awaiting a tow truck or the arrival of a friend or family member. i don't believe there was malicious intent by the police if they overlooked any clue that, only after the fact, might have suggested foul play. Never said malicious intent I was trying to imply that they were not and are not equipped to handle something like this. They don't have enough manpower. I also read somewhere that when they tried to reconstruct the accident that they concluded that neither the snow bank or the trees could have caused the damage to the front of her car. Also how and why was a rag from her own trunk in her tailpipe?

God of our weary years, God of our silent tears, thou who has brought us thus far along the way, thou who has by might led us into the light, keep us forever in the path, we pray, lest our feet stray from the places, our God, where we met thee, lest our hearts, drunk with the wine of the worls, we forget thee. Shadowed beneath thy hand may we forever stand - true to thee, O God, and true to our native land. We truely give thanks for the glorious experience we've shared this day. We pray now, O Lord, for your blessing upon thy servant, Cecil Smith, Captain of Police. For we know that, Lord, you're able and willing to work through faithful leadership to cast out the wickedness from those who conspire against you lord. AMEN.

Stephen wrote: <quoted text> This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God, nor is anyone who does not love his brother. Catholics the biggest hypocrites to walk the earth, seminaries the breeding ground for pedophilia. The devil is among you within your own religion, but yet you turn a blind eye to that as well. But once again proves a point if you don't agree with something someone says you immediately get persecuted on here. And, believe me I have very good reasons for my beliefs, your so called god abandoned me long ago when I was young. I was cast out under violent circumstances. Google Rev. John R. Hanlon and you will know then what I am talking about. I respect your religious beliefs, but don't preach to me, keep it to yourself.

Maybe we should start a forum called, "Why do you care so much about my location are you a psycho stalker?" Then the people who really care about MM's case can concentrate on discussing it on here without being criticized for having an opinion, or giving information that they became privy to. I have heard many years back much of what you have reported. There's a very tough group here who will simply dismiss the legitimacy. I don't. I want to tell you I knew that was your zip immediately as I have friends there and had recently sent Christmas cards! LOL! Anyway, I do wish you the best in your endeavors. By the way, I do believe there will be an arrest in whoever was involved in Mauras disappearance.

I am not here to be bashed, or preached to either. I just came on here to see if anyone here had any legitimate thoughts on what happened, and give the information I have learned from residents and relatives of the person many believe to be involved. Some of these people just don't get it at all. It seems they are more intent on just instigating on here and initiating arguments that usually turn totally off topic. I thought people were here because they cared about MM, but it seems a few are here to lead everyone away from the whole deal. As for an arrest I hope you are right and I hope that if she is no longer with us that they recover her remains, but I do believe that she is dead.:(

RF lived across the road from SBD, refused to have his property searched and later on reported a young person running a few miles away. None should be faulted necessarily but you do provide bullying at its best!

I would like to know who on here has actually bee to Woodsville? If you have have you driven down 112 at night? If you haven't drive 112 at night and you will see that you cannot see a damn thing mainly because of the lack of street lights. Then try walking it after dark and now you can't see anything at all. It is not an easy road to navigate at night especially if you don't know the road.

You fail to see, literally, how much you can actually see at night after waiting for your eyes to adjust. I hike at night with and without lights for decades now, and spent several years doing reconnaissance for the army much of it at night. With moonlight even from a partial moon or behind clouds you can see remarkably well at night. Bill

Sara doesn't like being called out on her unlikely and varied locations. like Kuwait. you wish ill upon others and dare present yourself as harmless. looks like 2011 may be dedicated to the pursuit of the real boogie man; a new victim with 2 initials and living in woodsville. gosh. he's been hiding in plain sight.

I love how people get all brave behind their keyboard and screen, it amuses me to no end. But yes I would be willing to do that no problem. Post #2949: I have facts, names, and statements from residents what do you have moron??? Not only did you say you had facts but you also said you have names. It would be nice to share all this info you have with the State Police since it seems you have no faith in the HPD.

Yep, the BS has become a self fulfilling prophecy hasn't it? You heard it many years ago because their were people years ago who made it up then. Now, hearing it again, it must be true. There is no more evidence to support it now than there was then. The only tough group here has been trying to keep the BS from spiraling out of control so that anyone who might have something legitimate to contribute wouldn't need to wade through all the horseshit that spirals around this case. Ultimately the only one the tough group works for isn't you, or Fred, of even some of the new posters. It's for Maura. If she is ultimately found out to be dead, there is a place where someone could go and not be swamped by horseshit. Where they can talk to people who won't give them loads of crap but will allow them to start with just the known facts. I think they would appreciate that. Knowing how much horseshit I have had to listen to,(murder, serial killers, trailer hitches, burials under foundations, father murder, embryonic stem cell research, School Bus Driver murderer, Police officer conspiracies, should I go on) I know I would appreciate it.
