Really? How interesting. I have had disagreements with more cops than I can possibly remember. That's how the job works, lots of experienced cops with many different points of view, opinions, and ideas. We gather evidence, interview witnesses, then we all sit down, go over the evidence, discuss theories, disagree, poke holes in theories, etc etc etc and on and on... Thats how it really works, in real life.

SOmething you have have no idea about, idiot.

How could they search- because he was moving it? Did they say they just wanted to inspect for safety reasons? I don't think they could have done forensics did they Shack?

I´m returning to my previous observation:
Why is it that the Haverhill LE report on Maura´s accident clearly indicates that her Saturn was found at a point very close to the WB curve, while the car apparently ended up much closer to the
M-tte house and the BHR intersection?
It is likely that Maura´s car first ended up at the spot indicated in the official report by Officer CS, but that Maura was able to reverse the car into a position near the M-tte residence.
If that is the case - which does seem likely - the Saturn would have been found there when LE arrived.
So why then does the official Haverhill police report states otherwise?
Poss tracks leading near the blue ribbon tree showing that is where the Saturn first had its crash but, was later found further east as she backed her car out of the ditch and the M.s saw her backing up to that point.

JWB,
I´m all with you there, but I think you don´t quite see my point here.
Let me try again:

The conclusion would be that Maura´s car was likely found at a point close to the M-tte house when Officer CS of Haverhill LE arrived, finding the car locked and Maura gone.
Why is it then that the official LE report by CS, signed six days later, indicates that the car was found at a location much closer to the WB curve and the W-n house?
Shouldn´t the police report rather indicate the location where Maura´s car was located on the arrival of Officer CS, namely at a point close to the M-tte residence?
Why is that not the case???

Healy's theories in this case are absolutely ridiculous, in my opinion. Not a single thing he has said has any little bit of proof whatsoever, without exception. None of it makes sense based on the facts of the case.
Not to mention he has never seen the case file, nor has he done any serious independant investigation into the case. I would be interested to have jwb post what investigation Healy has done and what evidence he has discovered on which he bases his theories.
I give his opinion no weight whatsoever.

Not sure Bumping- The bigger question is who does Healy think think the person responsible is?

It sure brought out the police imposter when the question was raised as to who Healy was referring to.

JWB,
OK. I guess we´d need to find out what the rules are for filling in a LE accident report.
I - perhaps wrongly - believe that the official LE accident report should indicate the location where a vehicle involved in an accident was actually found at the arrival of LE, not (or at least not exclusively) where that same vehicle might at first have come to a rest as an effect of an accident.
Yes, Maura´s car was likely reversed by Maura to a "second" location close to the M-tte house, but that is surely where it was found by the first responding LE in the shape of Officer CS.
I just find all this very strange and hope that perhaps someone might be able to shine some light on my queries....

Another strange aspect of this case is that a named witness in the SOCO Magazine article on the MM case purports to have seen LE around the Saturn with the doors open when she passed the scene on Rte 112.
Officially LE was only given authority to search the Saturn on the next day, I believe.
So if this named witness is correct - and I tend to believe her testimony - what on earth was LE doing at the time?
It would appear that police opened the door(s) of the Saturn prior to having got the official go ahead to do so on the next day....
Very strange, IMHO.

If you have a fender bender with another vehicle and then move the cars to the side of the road while you await police, the final accident report diagram will show where the impact occurred not where the cars were when police arrived.

Doors open when SC drove by (per April 2011 SOCO article)? Perhaps LE detected a burning smell caused by the mechanical malfunctioning of the Saturn and wanted to ensure the car wasn’t leaking gas or fluids or at risk of fire. When the car was deemed safe to be towed then perhaps they just locked the car doors and sent the vehicle off with the tow truck operator and Scarinza just got that detail wrong.

Or the doors were wide open or unlocked because MM didn’t lock them before she was abducted by the occupants of Red Truck. Her running shoes and overnight bag were left in the car and she was apparently fastidious about her dental care so she wasn’t planning on taking a bus or being away from the Saturn for long, certainly not overnight.

I agree with Shack who said she was grabbed by scallywags and foul play was involved. You’re right JWB that Healy knows who murdered Maura and that’s why he was quick off the mark to dismiss “112dirtbag” and the anniversary video.

Bumping- when I look at the accident report it clearly shows tire imprints in the snow west of the trees and the resting spot of the saturn east of the trees. I guess I am missing your point as it looks like CS placed the saturn east of the blue ribbon tree.

Frosty Great post-
Mr Healy's resume is impressive as I have posted it before. MR healy was a previous State trouper and he has been a long time investigator. I truly trust that he is just not spouting crap an he has good evidence.I wonder id the evidence he has is the same as Scarinza when he says 75% chance of a conviction.
Who would the SBD be afraid of and not come clean on?
FRMLE what is your feelings on Healys as a professional NHSP and PI?
Why wouldn't Mr. Healy show us this evidence? He isn't protected by law not to show us?

Mr. Healy in order for his theory to work is making the SBD gutless and immoral that he wouldn't tell the truth about what happened.

If SBD was really afraid of anyone which I doubt, but if he was I'd imagine his criminal record would be miles long, and already on LE's radar.

According to Citigril and family they aren't even sure if the DNA was tested on the ARAME carpet. That doesn't sound like a great PI.
So the only strong evidence we have now for the case was dogs went "bonkers"

So really Mr. Healy's comment the SBD doesn't want to speak out is just one of pure opinion. Just like the same as him saying FM was voilatile just pure opinion.

you must be kidding? Why would a PI want to show everyone his hand until he can secure a conviction?

The NHLI offered to step in as a second set of eyes. Everything they uncover(ed) goes directly to LE.

That statement is probably based on Healy’s interviews with SBD. I doubt Healy would put that out there (tell Mr. Renner) if he didn’t get that impression.

I had a dream last night that someone was holed up in their privy surrounded by bears. Anyone seen Bill?

Frostman - you make some very compelling arguements that go against my theories. Your quick and show your references. You make me sometime question my theories or make me look for more information. I appreciate your input even if your on the otherside of the fence that I'm on.
