My argument is simple:
You know that pirate ship ride that goes left and right? Well when it goes back and forth it is a great ride. When it can only move in one direction the ride stops all together because it can only go to the left or right so far. If it doesn't get moved back the other way the ride stops.
So I say mm ran off and dies in the woods and Frostman doesn't write me back his theory and we debate from there the thread and forum ends.

For years him and WTH fought and he was the first to wish him well. And I truly believe that if you said you were sick he would be the first to wish you well.

I understand words that were said were harsh to one another and I'm not asking for anyone to defend themselves. Just because someone doesn't share the same opinion as me, or you, or anyone else doesn't mean that they don't care.

I don't feel the need to defend myself at all. I am still trying to reach a point of good discussion. I have spoken that sentiment many times in the last year. I unfortunately don't see that happening and it is a shame. I continue to talk with other posters that will no longer post for those same reasons. I am beginning to see their logic.

You're just not getting it. It doesn't matter if YOU think the discussion is good or not. It's not up to you to decide what should and shouldn't be discussed and if the conversation isn't going the way you think it should be it certainly isn't up to you to threaten the posters with displaying their personal info or trying to find out who they are in other ways. That's just plain low to do something like that.
Grow up and stop being such an as* and maybe new posters will post and some of the older ones might come back.

Some of the commenters call others stupid or names, which is rude but revealing their name or posting a picture is low and can put the family of that person in harm's way. I don't think JWB would like it if someone did that to his wife and kids, but he thinks it's ok to do this against others for calling him a name. Scary. What a dangerous selfish thing to do in the name of caring about Maura.

Superman wasn't childish and didn't go around threatening people to get his way.He was a real man.
Jwb's only power is that of fear that he uses by threatening to out posters on this and other forums.He cares nothing about the safety of the other posters and their families. Selfish and low in my book.

You're right. It goes way over the line to threaten exposing people's identity. Dangerous and selfish? Definitely.

That alone says something about the person. I personally find him to be absurd and sad, trying to hard to convey a point that really doesn't make a bit of sense.

I will agree with one thing that was said a page ago or so, there are very few facts to go on, and that does make it hard to have a meaningful discussion about the case.

That is the reason so many people make up so much crap, simply because it makes the "discussion" more interesting to them. The problem is that others will take those made up 'facts', which are in fact complete fantasy, and they will repeat it over and over until it becomes part of the official 'topix' case file.

And if you come on here and try to correct people about certain misconceptions, well then you will be called police apologists, local coverup artists, and over all liars. All for trying to help people seperate fact from fiction.

This is the reason I stopped posting on the Patric McCarthy thread, no matter how much I tried to provide valuable, first hand information, it was ll for naught. Then I realized I was being stupid and stopped posting.

One truth was/is that LE DID advise a man to remove himself and his metal detector from the edge of 112, where Maura disappeared. Some of you will turn that into a lie. Some of you will still blame the victim too.

Some theories about what happened to her, put forth here or on other forums, in no particular order.

1. ran away to start a new life, with or without the help of some other person.

2. wandered off into the woods and succumbed to the elements, on purpose or accidentally.

3. got into a vehicle with a stranger who abducted and murdered her.

4. got into a vehicle with a stranger and died accidentally.

5. got into a vehicle with someone she knew and was later murdered.

6. got into a vehicle with somebody she knew and died accidentally.

7. killed in a hit and run accident, body disposed of.

8. made it somewhere entirely else where she later committed suicide.

9. made it somewhere entirely else where she had some kind of accident and was killed, body never found.

9. made it somewhere else where she later was killed either by a stranger or by somebody she knew and met up with at that location.

10. alternative possibilities, like alien abduction, eaten by Sasquatch and such.

11. being a Jane Doe somewhere far away from NH. It is surprising how many unidentified bodiess there seem to be that has yet to be put into Namus or such.

Well, just an attempt at getting the conversation back to Maura. There are pros and cons to each of these points, and maybe there are other possibilities (likely or less likely).
