BINGO! And this has been the problem from the beginning.
Anyone that lived in the area and even beyond was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
There is quite a history to this that you know nothing about but the ones that have been here from the beginning have seen it.
The people in that immediate area were questioned over and over by family, police, PI's and total strangers till they finally said no more questions.
Strangers went through their yards searching and parked on their lawns until the police were finally called to remove them.
These people that only tried to help by calling the police to help Maura were bashed near to death and accused of so many things I could fill a book. The SBD was even chased down to his retirement home in FL by PI's to be questioned for the millionth time and some nut case on the forum that was very scary stated that he was going to go there and question him too.
Names were named and even exact addresses and the bashing continued for years by a small group.There was one person in particular who bashed the people of that area unmercifully calling them terrible names and blaming everyone for having something to do with the disappearance of Maura. I could go on and on but I won't.
I hope you understand a little now why some try to keep the BS at a minimum and names not mentioned so another person isn't put thru hell. JMHO

This is no doubt an unfortunate circumstance. It affected not only the people directly involved, but the whole community. From what I have read about Woodsville, it is a very small town, I'm sure everyone knows each other or close to it. Has this caused Woodsville to become divided?

No Sara it hasn't to my knowledge. If anything I think it may have brought some closer together.
The people that live nearest to the accident are in the Swiftwater/Bath area miles from town. Yes since there are so few people everyone knew everyone. And the people that live in town that have been here for awhile are known too but there are many in Woodsville that are new or fairly new. There are new people in the past few year that have moved around here and those I don't know.

Yes....and maybe while he's there he can ask if anyone ever found it odd that 2 bodies were discovered at Lincoln NH. Lincoln is on Route 112 not far from where Maura disappeared Feb 9, 2004. The two bodies were discovered May 1, 2004. The woman had neck wound (had been stabbed). She had an Oregon Drivers License in her possession w/name of Dalaina Terra Garren; she also had a passport indicating Illinois as her birthplace. Fingerprints matched name of Madeline Gutkowski. Believe last known place she lived was Northborough ME. Authorities have never had any relatives come forth as far as I've read... Relatives did claim the other body. WHAT is going on in that area? What is the magnetic attraction? My guess is many of the bodies did not end up there voluntarily.

It seems Hannah has answered your question on the other MM thread by giving yet another first and last name. Hmm, sure makes me wonder why she's throwing names out all of a sudden since she knew what damage was done before by doing that.

That name has been mentioned many times on several forums. Obviously there was nothing to the knife story since the information hasn´t been acted upon.
You´re right. I shouldnt have written the name of the person who is now being accused of being a murderer. Guess I got carried away. Anyhow, anyone could find the name by doing simple online searches using the info posted by bill (sorry, forgot his number).

Let me tell you something, my kids grew up on Carr Rd. and they have lived there since early 1997 and they know a lot of what goes on in that town, hell Wowzer you might even know them yourself. What I find troubling to me and it may be the exact reason you stated but they never ever told me about MM. I found out in October while watching her episode on ID. So when I brought it up to them it was like opening up flood gates. My oldest would have been 17 at that time, my next would have been 14, and my twin boys would have been 12. This is also when I found out that my oldest son is married to the person I have talked about as a person of interest. Which as some know does not mean a suspect at all, but some perceive it that way. I was not trying to start any trouble or throw any stones I just wanted to get some feedback on it from someone familiar with that area, not realizing that some people would actually attack me, and others that agree with me. I am not saying that this person did anything wrong, but I am saying that a few of the people in Woodsville have their suspicions about this guy and were and are pointing their finger at him. Keep in mind he is on a short list already with the police, especially since he refused to cooperate with the investigation. Which is his perogative, but casts doubt on himself. Hell if I did nopt want to be on that list and I was innocent I would let the police search whatever they wanted and submit to a polygraph as well just to clear my name and keep people from falsely accusing me. But, if I had done something, yes I most definitely would not allow a search of my properties or answer any questions without a warrant. His refusal to cooperate from early on in the investigation does make him look suspicious in my and eyes and many others. But, like someone stated on here earlier you are innocent until proven guilty.

Sounds as though he might have a little something going on in addition to his relationship with "God." However, I do not believe he's smoking anything. I do not know how much you've read via internet, but there are many people missing in NH; also many bodies have been found. It seems as though the mountains have become some sort of dumping ground. You wanna know what is really funny, she did the same thing about the person I have been talking about on this thread. The other funny thing is the police never released the name of the person who turned the knife over or his brothers name because he had died before police could interview him and the knife was not handled properly as far as rules chain of evidence, it was severely compromised.

Well for one I lied about the County Attorney being the person of interest's step mother however they are related. But yet you named his name anyways without having the proper info, I did this purposely to see if anyone knew anything and it seems you may. Things that make you go Hmmmmmm!!!

...and of course we cannot forget the possibility that she rejected assistance because she knew an acquaintance of hers would be appearing shortly. Just a theory....one of many. It's always seemed odd that she would drive miles in a car that she hesitated to drive around campus or Amherst (due to the car's poor mechanical condition). Someone from the Grafton Co area may have followed her in a separate vehicle....someone who possibly visited her Sunday in Amherst. Therefore she felt confident in that if she became stranded she would not be alone. This person may not have visited her in Amherst that Sunday but might have offered to come to assist her if her car broke down. Then there is always the possibility that her car slid off the highway....she began walking and became the victim of a hit-and-run driver. My understanding is that it had been a dark evening and she was wearing dark clothing. In this scenario someone could have popped her into the trunk and drove away. Just hypotheses... There are many from which to choose.

Wow so what you are saying Jesus broke my back in 2008? Because that is why I have free time, although it has healed since my surgery, not 100% but it will do. This with no help from your so called god, I spit on him!!!
