I got a few possible name of your "suspect" by googling the last name and Woodsville. I then searched several different public record listings and found a few possible fb accounts. On checking those out, I decided it couldnīt be any of the other guys with the same last name. So, anyone could have found it. And - if I was a local, which I am not - would there be anything wrong with being a local? Wow you got all that in just 15 minutes of research? I do find that so amusing that you can tell just by looking at fb profiles that this person could not be involved. What do you expect the profile to read, "Hey over here I abducted and killed MM!"? If you can pick out who is not responsible maybe you'd be able to pick out who is, you should go back to fb and review all profiles from people in the general area and point out the killer to SPD. I hope you never sit on a jury, because making decisions without all the facts, as I was guilty of in the opposite direction, could cause a lot of problems for potentially guilty or innocent people. Remember my 4 sons and ex-wife have lived there since 1997, my sons know him, my oldest is married to his niece. They all say that he gets crazy once in a while, and by this I mean psychotic crazy. This is why his ex-wife along with his son have moved over here to St. Albans. Lastly, if I recall Ted Bundy did not look or act like a killer either, but he was a brutal no mercy killer. If you saw him in public prior to his arrest you never would have suspected him to be a murderer he was a well groomed well educated man, but yet he killed.

WTF-the-original wrote: <quoted text> rozShoem, seriously? Do you think that the search dogs that tracked her scent to that location they did, would track her scent to that location and then if her body was laying in a ditch where this hit and run happened, would really not find the body? Do you really think that is likely or even remotely possible? Before you answer I know the tracker and her dog. I have worked with them and know them by reputation. Check on their track record and how they are thought of in the SAR community and let us know what you think. Bill What is their reputation? I would think that if her scent ended where it did she got into a vehicle plain and simple. Don't know why she would refuse help from the SBD,but she did, and then get into another car altogether. The whole thing just does not seem right starting from when she left Amherst, to buying the booze, to vanishing into thin air. Some people said it looked as though the accident scene looked staged. I don't know this to be true, but there was a rag which came from her trunk stuffed into the tailpipe, she or somebody took the booze minus the wine, and the SBD first told his family when they showed pictures of MM that she was not the same female he saw that night, but later told police it was her. There are a lot of who, whats, where, and whens, and I honestly think they may never solve this the more I try to delve into this story.

If I remember correctly it was her father that told her to put the rag in the pipe. I know nothing about cars but I think he had said if the car was smoking it wouldn't be so noticable. If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will come along and correct me.

There was a simple receipt in the car. Apparently no video and the wine may have already been there from Saturday nights party. For all we know, the booze was dropped off, never going along for the ride. And really, without proof, who knows if maura bought it at that. Anyone at that point could have bought this right after she was say, forced, to take money out of her account. If she were so blue and down in the dumps, she may not have been too wise to her surroundings. It's been said she was a fearless runner, but hadn't been running much because of an injured ham string or something. That may have set her back too, not being able to run the same way anymore. And, well, I was thinking she may have let her guard down. School was cancelled that day due to heavy snowfall. Only someone desperate or in distress would drive that car....unless they didn't know how bad it was. Who knows. But here's something worth repeating. Mr W-Man said a spin out just doesn't happen like that. Like what? They heard a loud acceleration, which indicates the car either really sped up, yet possibly slowed down, and then a thud. Thing is, the car didn't stay "thudded in", it moved and was set paralell to the road.

Putting a rag in the tail pipe can have serious repercussions, like exhaust fumes getting in the car, and it could even cause the car to stall. Forgive me for getting mouthy at you as well, I just get so involved and when I think someone is taking a poke at me I respond rudely..sorry!!

There are so many twists and turns in MM's disappearance just like the road where her car went off the road.

Boy, you are the most fun of anyone we have ever had here. And that is saying something. Entertainment blasted into high gear. It is interesting that have such animosity to anyone that questions any of your "theories". The visceral reactions that you have are typical of people who are so insecure in their ability to create a cogent theory that they cannot respond with any defense that is logical. I see it often as an engineer. Other engineers, when they make a statement are prepared to respond to questions about it. People not use to that kind of questioning take it personally and feel very threatened. They respond very much like you do. Of course most of them don't respond with insults because of course they would get the crap beaten out of them and then fired for being inept. I wonder how someone with your serious anger issues could be with the state police? Of course you still haven't said anything about what you do with the VSP. I made my guesses. Having worked with real men through the years, in the infantry and fire department, you don't strike me as being of that caliber. Anyway, I suspect you will shortly go on my pay no mind list. I may still respond to your incorrect assumptions but not you personally. Please don't let that stop you though because I've gotten many laughs from you already and your prodigious output has lead to hysterical laughter in my household several nights in a row. Bill

I'm telling you that a good majority of the youth and twenty somethings, smoke it more than they drink. My sons included in that category unfortunately, not proud of that fact, but they are all young adults and make their own decisions.

There are so many twists and turns in MM's disappearance just like the road where her car went off the road. Agreed. And Kathleen says the wine was on the receipt too, but no one else ever says this. It'a always 4 bottles. Most news accounts have Maura taking out cash and then stopping at the nearby liquor store. I keep thinking for them to know that, she may have been using the ATM inside that liquor store. Sure wish someone could clear that little detail up for one and all. I think we could really get somewhere if only a new and improved, updated and fully factual timeline could be put out there. Dumb things like who peeled the orange, who was asked where the girl was, and things like that could be clarified for the record too.

You must because no matter what other people say it seems as far as you're concerned it's only your opinion that matters, because you have it all figured out. Wow with all of your wealth of information you should go help the Cold Case Unit and solve this now, because like I said you have all the answers. You've been on here how long? And, you still can't come up with anything other than to bully people on here! I bet if you met some us on here one on one your bullying would stop pretty damn quick. You're just an asshole who hides behind the security of the keyboard and screen and just run your mouth knowing that you are safe because you cannot be hit, because if you were here right now I would knock you the "F" out, without hesitation and without regret.

Alls forgiven but I sure hope you don't think I'm taking a "poke" at you with what I'm about to ask. I'm really trying to understand something but it's confusing. You said you were in FL in 08 and your daughter was kidnapped in Aug.08. It took about 6 months for you to finally get her back which you did on your own with no help from any LE. 4 months to locate her and two months to get her back. And you were a civilian at the time. Starting from Aug 1st it would have been Jan of 09 when you finally got her back. How were you able to do this with a broken back? Then you stated in post 2289 that you broke your back in 08 and it's still not 100%. What I don't understand is why the VSP would hire an older man(not that your old) with a broken back that isn't 100%. And how could you possibly pass the physical that is hard even for a much younger man with no back problems? I'm sure you can clear this up. Thanks.

Even as a member of VSP you cannot figure out how to help. If my kids or wife where in those kinds of difficulties, facing murders and death threats, nothing would stop me from getting them. But your a manly man, aren't you? Also notice, that he has the need to have me give him an answer. He can't survive without an answer. He doesn't care if the answer is true. Just as long as it feeds his need he can live with any lie that fills the need. Regardless of who it might hurt. Well see you in the funny papers. Please continue, I'll need my laughs for tomorrow. Bill Like I said if my assumptions as you call them are untrue, then please all mighty one tell us who did it? For all we know you could be involved? As far as any statements I made on here regarding who I had tabbed as a suspect, but the proper terminology should be person of interest, is based off of several statements made by people who live in Woodsville. Not only that my sons know the person I was referring to very well. So I am privy to information that has not been in the press as of yet. Also keep in mind the following, FACT this person is on the short list of suspects. FACT this persons father's business poured a new concrete floor in the shop shortly after MM's disappearance. FACT they denied the police access to the business property and did not cooperate with LE on any level at that time (I do not know if that has changed). FACT SP wanted to x-ray the concrete floor but were denied access and told to get a search warrant, FACT the Grafton County Attorney is related to this person. FACT my son is married to his niece (I call her ex-niece because her aunt is his ex-wife) and she believes he could have done this. FACT his ex-wife moved here to get away from him. FACT his own son thinks he could be capable of doing something like abducting her. FACT my sons are very good friends with his son and know him quite well. FACT all you go on is the media reports and take them as end all be all. Believe me everyone that I have talked to on here in private have said you're an asshole and are always looking to start something with whoever you can. My sons have laughed at your posts because you my friend haven't got a friggin' clue, not one. I came here hoping to get more info and see if anyone else had heard what I heard, and all I get is the king of asshole's!!!
