Either way and JMO, but it seems that one PI retired and has posession of one swatch of carpet taken from the closet. BUT:
When it was said that it may have been menstral blood, I think this info came second hand to the one who posted the first comment here on Topix. She wasn't throwing a turd over the wall, she was thinking out loud about what may have happened to Maura. It really did fit in with the discussion at hand.*Again, I think she may have been misled.
Then Weeper came around on Advocates forum to say it may have been menstral blood.
It's like a-'let them think what they will', type of response. JMO

That the carpet could be split in two at all implies to me,~ that the stain was sizable enough to even be /// cut /// in two.
JMO again is that no one in authority is going to say exactly what they found. We can believe whatever we want to but they can't be telling the public if there's any truth to a MM connection and what they found.
I agree with Amy, there are so many theories and there's just no way to know what happened.

You can try to put a "shine" on her all you want. Too many of us know the story. So many, many, many turds thrown over the wall. It still isn't possible to determine, especially from that source, what was, is or might have been true. There was never any line with her between bullshit, fantasy and reality all written with the same "knowing" hand. Many of her statements over the years have been shown to be total bullshit. As far as I and some others are concerned, nothing that she says, can be taken at face value, and certainly cannot be trusted. That is simply due to experience with things she has said in the past. If she has stated 99 things that have been proven false, what am I supposed to do with the one thing she has stated that I don't know is true or not? I suspect I'll treat it as bullshit and I'll very likely be right.

You realize there were no hair samples or any other evidence found, but this big stain on the carpet in the closet. If you break down what your saying it makes no sense. You think giving the shroud of mystery of "no one will say anything if it is related to mm" adds some form of creditability. Really it should be proven first that the house had anything to do with MM before going public with the info. Without any hard evidence the story is just being spun and can't be supported, but can't be debunked because of "mystery".

I had you in mind Bill when I made the turd statement, because you speak that way about her. But I know some things that you may not and in this case, I believe she was misled. It's true. No shine. No reason to defend, it was for information only that I made this referrence.

The carpet could have been cut in half even if it was 2 inches big. There's no way to guess the size of the carpet IMHO.
I think if there was any truth to a MM connection there would have been an arrest by now if they knew it was her blood.

I'll just say it. People involved with the MM case. People who had no right to be involved, let alone share confidential information, did. And with the person you are forever picking on. Call me anything you want but keep one thing in mind. That poster has been to all the places and at one time was helping the family with this whole mess. I've spoken with her on the phone and she is a very kindhearted person who does not embellish anything, (to me). Hurtful things said can never be taken back, but sometimes hurtful things are misinterpreted or taken personally. I can't attest to any of those things Bill. Thanks for responding.

Really??? I highly doubt words were misinterpreted. She was very clear with the meaning of her words.
And yes just me I do take things personal when someone is on an internet forum saying my neighborhood and area where I live is full of incest and rats in a nest that should be lysoled.I'd like to know how remarks like that (and there were many)can be misinterpreted.
What exactly did she do to help the family beside badmouth everyone in the area where the accident occured?

I tried to make sense that if the sample(s) were ever tested and proven to be connected to MMM, law enforcement would not hold a press conferrence, or give the case sensitive information away over the news and so on. They would not tell us is what I was saying.

I think you're right and it just goes to show how hurtful and damaging it can be to even discuss this sort of thing. If the house sits unihabited because of rumors, that's unfortunate. The PI's brought this, the second accident theory and such to the publics attention for the first 4 years anyway. I have to think it should not have been mentioned and or elaborated on to people in cyberspace, but I'm sure they had their reasons.

You've got to be kidding. She was thinking outloud???
She purposely threw that blivet over the fence and then scurried away and refused to answer any questions about it. She stated it as FACT that it was menstrual blood and even her buddies were quite surprised.IMHO the only ones being misled were the posters, for years.

Just me. I really need to state a couple of things for the record. First anyone can be duped. BUT, if you are duped once, twice, three, four, etc.. times, why would you keep playing along? If you are duped, tell everyone that is what happened. She never once said that was the case. And truthfully, if you are continually duped and stupid enough to keep telling people what you were told and relaying it as fact. You are no longer someone who was duped, you are now a co-conspirator and the turds you throw over the wall, are now yours.

as far as i have read Claude Moulton lived in the A frame on valley road and his brother gave the knife to Mr Murray.We were told Claude died .I am still looking for any proof that he did.Claude wants Roo back according to Skye on facebook maybe it is another Claude.

I don't mean to be rude, but why does it matter whether he is dead or alive or where he might be living? If my name became falsely associated with a missing person's murder, and there were a bunch of nutball sleuths talking about me on the internet, then I might not want my whereabouts to be too well-known either.

Someone once sent me a copy of an obituary of Claude's brother. I don't know if it was the same brother who handed over the knife, but he passed in 2007 in NH. I don't know if CM is dead or alive.

Ok, and I understand you here. Like I say, I cannot speak to things outside of my own dealings. But there really was one person, trusted person who did spill beans over and over and I have since learned alot of that was made up. The person i'm referring to is deceased now and it's hard for many to go back and figure out so many of the where and whys of how this person operated. I suspect our poster in question is seeing this more as time goes by.

I almost didn't see this wowzer. You may know she helped obtain the key to the A frame. She was there at that search too. Helena tried to help soften the very rough sounding comments because this person mattered alot to her and several others in the search for answers. Heck, even Mcsmom has been "duped" on some things as Bill puts it. But it is what it is.

Again, i cannot say why these comments were made, but I always thought they were much broader or random then directed at your good neighbors or yourself. Not speaking about the good people, but anyone around there rumored to be is what I took it as.
But it's not for me to say. I just don't know what to think because I like this person very much for what I know of her.
