The only reference I can find described as leisure, was in regards to some of her reading books. Important to bear in mind that as FW describes the vehicle location at the point of seeing someone smoking/red light, is that it is in the westbound ditch facing westbound. Which IMO lends itself to the OPR scenario. Weepers OPR scenario.

I know I've asked this a million times and I just can't recall the definitive answer, but when a car is placed in reverse, does the exhaust still have output? What happens in neutral, is there any exhaust?

It took me a while to gather the information, then compose the post in a cohesive and coherent manner, include the links, read it a few times to make sure it made sense, make sure the links work and post it. I know there is not a curb, I am the one who found and posted the pictures and earlier said I have looked at Google Street View, so I know there was no curb. It was simply a mistake in compiling my post.

Orko Kringer wrote: Jenky, This is strictly opinion here: But I could see the 911 call from FW to dispatch going something like this Dispatch: describe what you see FW: there is someone sitting in the car and I can see a little red light Dispatch: a little red light, like someone smoking a cigarette? FW:yes like someone smoking a cigarette (as dispatch types that witness sees someone inside car smoking cigarette) If a scenario such as this took place then technically FW would be correct (years later) in saying she did not see a person inside the car smoking a cigarette (but rather what she actually saw was the red light) and it was assumed that it could be a person smoking a cigarette. Definitely grounds for confusion, But a very likely scenario IMO. Have you read the dispatch? She says can see a man in Veh smoking a cigarette" It is not someone smoking a cigarette it is a man so she must have been fairly certain. JMO

So a tree is not what caused the damage according to billy's mother. Although I did not become involved in the search for Maura until March of 2004 we did look at trees on 112 to see if there was any damage to trees. There was no damage to any of the trees.

Orko it is possible dispatch just wrote man there. But dispatch isn't the only place FW said man, she also said it to the media I believe. If you read the earliest news reports her desdriptiOn Of what she saw was very different than it is today. She could literally be a case study in how innacurate eye witnesses can sometimes be. It is very interesting to see how much her story has changed over the years

I just found it odd.
