Jenkins, Maura could sign into any accounts she had and print out whatever she had saved on that server. AOL for example, was popular in 2004. She could be in Nh, VT,~ far, far away and sign in to access her mail and other info. But not to argue printing out a suicide note.
What made her drive there, and who's not telling all they know? Just as we didn't know until this year that Maura had partied in Goshen, Nh on NYE, 2003/2004. Whoever went with her, whoever was at the party, well, I'm guessing it could be one of the close circle of friends that Fred asked to remain silent. MR Renner found out from one of the parents.(I think that's how it went), and if so, maybe he's saving more info on that night for his book. I forget at which point renner posted that if Maura were ok, she should contact him and he'd stop the book right there. For her privacy sake.

About Maura's personal computer sitting in the "back" of Kathleens closet, and in the home she lived in with Tim and his parents before marriage......I would think that PI'S would be all over that computer as soon as it became known as being in the closet there. Smart enough to make a copy for themselves and put the computer back in the closet, let it sit. JMHO That's the number Maura called, Tims parents home, the night of the upset. The night that Kathleen had to admit to once police who had obtained cellphone records, well, she was confronted. How much time had passed? UMASS said a call came from within the Kennedy Hall to the security desk and that they didn't know who made the call. I say that later call may have been a super or coworker calling to ask Maura if she'd be alright, that the super was making her way to her so she could go home. Because Kathleen wasn't forthright with police, calling it a nothing call and not more than an attempt to get out of work early, I have to wonder about that call. Kathleen also says in 2006 was it? That Maura WAS having troubles and wanted to get away to think. That she had spoke with Maura on Sunday night sometime and Maura told her this. A sister is a true friend when close and maybe Kathleen knows more. Hmmm. Never did get that, but it could be true. It's that in the 4 part series Marylou, the writer for that award winning series on MM, says there was NO second call, even though people still believe that. How would she know, what made her write that? I hope it was factual and that someone confirmed it to the family.

I don't think the goshen NH info adds up to a whole lot. Maura drove well past that area the night she went missing. She ended up in the very same location she was set to have her honeymoon with Billy at (in the white mountains).

I got a bogus citation 5 months after being stopped for a suspected DWI. Someone probably called in a prank b/c I drove a whiskey plate car. Trace amount of a medice I have to take periodically, as needed. But because I drove my sons car with the whiskey plates he earned, I was harrassed and pulled over many, many times. It's when I started complaining that this officer whants to seem to stick something to me. It wont fly. True, i blew no alchohol, but could not to the tightrope walk because of a hernia in the groin problem. This court has been reset 3 times. I'm not worried except that one of tghe officers had been in aon a 3 squad jump on me for a----get this----a slow blinker. In less than 1 minute, there were 3 squads there. They let me go, I complained. Now they want my firstborn and family jewels, lol. I have a lawyer. But my reason for saying this is because if Maura did anything wrong the night of the party, the night of the crash of her dad's car, the missing time could be her giving blood down at a hospital like I had to do. My police won't give up the dash cam footage, that's what's stalling my case. So my point is, come monday Maura might be well aware it would turn into something and decided to blast off. "It was clearly the worst". AND, her family may not have seen any summons, citations and subsequent warrents since there was no Maura to mail it to? IDK. Because my son will never drive again with his heath problems and balance issues, the state finally freed his car of the whiskey plates and let me gain ownership to a new set of clean plates. Took the medical division months as I complained how I was stopped over 8 times for NO reason. Funny, in this last 4 months of a clean car, i have NOT been stopped once, nor looked at sideways. Wish me luck on my Halloween courtdate. They might throw away the key if they are pissed off enough. I was jumped by the way, given no chance to see on a dark road after being blinded from behind by floodlights. I had a cop car. I knew better to use my highbeams 200 feet behind anyone, let alone the searchlight I had. But this officer had all his lights going and I felt like an ant on Raid. Bullshit. But might open a new angle on the no citation statements. People, only police might truely know about something like this. Just me

It's just that she had been there and how did she go there? In her own car? Because Billy WAS NOT along and I've learned that Maura went back to join family for the duration of January 2004. People said she hadn't driven her car in weeks, maybe they knew of the problems in driving to Goshen, maybe not. But the timing is there, so I wonder. Her court date made her late to join family I think. It was something like December 15th. maybe there was no party. Just said there was to mask tany court appearances she may have had to go back for. You know, her being on probation and all......

BobJenkins-OG wrote: <quoted text> So your thinking that the computer held evidence of suicide that they didn't tell the public about? What would be the purpose of that? Let's say the computer held a suicide note, why would possibly be the reason to hold that back? Wouldn't that make their job way easier? That would sure eliminate the need for 6,000 hours of murder investigation wouldn't it? The fact is that early on they were implying that the email she left on top of her boxes was most likely a suicide note, we now know that it most certainly wasn't. It looks to me like if there was a real suicide note you can be damn sure they would've told the public about it; remember that the only reason to hold something back is if it could harm a prosecution. If there was a suicide note then there would be no need for a prosecution, would there? Early on LE was trying to make people think she may have killed herself, I just can't see them holding back a suicide note from the public, certainly not the family. We also know that they didn't follow up on every tip and lead, they didn't even investigate her final phone call to condo owner. 6,000 hours is a little more than simply following tips when they come in, especially considering that they've said that very little tips have come in. 6,000 hours looks more like they've prepared a murder prosecution against someone and are fully prepared to prosecute if her body gets found. I bet that the NHSP has a damn good idea of what happened to her and who is responsible, but until they find her body they won't be able to do anything. 6,000 hours is way more than just going through the motions because they really believe she committed suicid You can bet that there's a very good reason why LE is not saying much. We just don't know the reason and they certainly have no obligation to tell the public or family until they have proof or at least something solid of whatever they think happened. 6000 hrs tells me that they are doing a thorough job and leaving no stone unturned. We also have no idea how much info the family has been told because they also have no obligation to tell the public anything.

It seemed apparent to me that they were trying to disguise themselves by writing things in a queer way...but I can't imagine who it was. I'm not threatened by being 'outed' but I do appreciate that posters I've never held any special bond with, like Wowzer, came out and protested at him 'naming' me. It was greatly appreciated, on my part. I don't see what the motivation behind that was - perhaps to illustrate their wicked cool Google prowess?(Note: It's easy to find a name/job title. That's what LinkedIn is for. Chicago is a big city, very far away from all this MM action. Why would I be scared?) Then again, as Amy stated months ago, it's scary to have some interwebs sleuth trying to track down your RL name - regardless. Oh well...that's the Maura Murray thread, for ya. No problem Simply. For years I've said that it's dangerous and wrong to put anyone's name or address on a public forum and I stand by that.

Although it was not easy I find it was money well spent to help find a missing relative. Although I have never met Wowzer I believe she/him have searched for Maura. At what date did you become involved in the search for Maura? You are correct citigirl. I did look in the beginning. I don't think I need to explain why I stopped. Other comments about the note police did release to the public: I have seen the two (supposed conflicting statements) from quotes that Lt. Scarinza has said about the note found in maura's room and I don't believe he was misleading by any stretch. Also, Jenky asked why they would release that info and not what was found on maura's computer to the public and the IMO, the answer to that is that maura's boyfriend was present for the search of maura's dorm and he would've had the same access to the note as the police.(It was already out there at that point). At no time does Lt. Scarinza refer to that note as a suicide note. For the record, IMO, I believe maura never got around to finishing up a true suicide note. But who knows what was discovered on her computer (whether we are talking internet searches done by maura or drafts of letters etc...).
