We talked about not many people in the area knowing anything about maura and thought it might be good to get the word out again. That's all- i really don't understand why you are put off by that? When I said put your money with where your mouth is, it is just a saying that to me means acting on your words. I wasn't insinuating that you hadn't spent money or hours looking, I was asking if you would be interested in getting the word out there again.

I Live in the area and I don't remember ever seeing a poster around here. i am not saying there were never any but many others around here just didn't get the word. The poster I put up is not for the outdoors so I put it in a plastic sleeve.I thought maybe family had acess to posters that can be posted outside and last and that is why I asked you.(that's all)

I'd have been mug shot and fingerprinted, so far, nothing and it's no wonder to me. Can't understand the stalling with my case. i hope I'm not being brought in to testify against the officer who's my on my back.....but I'll soon know. And so far, no papers saying I cannot drive is a good sign. I think since and/if there was a strawberry stick in the bottle as some have said, it was most likely Maura's and she was most likely drinking it. Especially for her to throw it from the car. The thing is though, at which are did they find the bottle? Down in by the trees in the ditch or backed up futher to BHR? Just me I got a bogus citation 5 months after being stopped for a suspected DWI. "Just Me I think since and/if there was a strawberry stick in the bottle as some have said,it was most likely Mauras and she was most likely drinking it." So if you were pulled over for DWI its most likely true . Who was it that stated Maura threw anything from the car and where are you getting this info from?

It was in fact a bit of a running joke, he said he has seen it spelled so many different ways even he isn't sure any more what's right. I will also admit that I usually had a sticky note with the proper spelling of 'affidavit','misdemeanor','con tempt', and a few other words on my desktop. I was never a great speller. I know you think you caught me in a huge lie, borderline conspiracy, sorry to disappoint you but it was just a mistake. Keep trying. Oh no worries...I just happened to notice your misspelling while thinking about Maura's computer. If family, or family PI had the contents of Maura's hard drive, why would family ask for the computer back? I would imagine copies of the hard drive were made, since several different agencies were involved at the time, and likely a copy for family. I keep wondering what happened? Canton? Kenton? Seems more like LE listened to something Maura said, as opposed to reading it.

amy researches wrote: FrmLE, I have a question that has nothing to do with Maura. Probably a stupid question but I'm curious. This skull they found in Danby, they say there is no DNA but it is probably an Asian female. How do they determine the race of a skull? Obviously I am not expert in this but I believe FrmLE is correct. I know that there are landmarks on the skull and also pelvis that allow specialists in particular to make fairly good estimates on race and sex. I believe that these experts can also glean a fair amount of information just from the bodies long bones on height and other information. How accurate, I'm not certain. I suspect that there is overlap that can cause confusion but most scientific estimates have a percentage of certainty. When they stated that they thought that it was an Asian, I would expect that they would have also given a percentage that they felt they were correct. Bill

Amy- a forensic anthropologist determined the skull is most likely an Asian female. An experienced anthropologist can pretty much just look at a skull and know what it probably was but in order to make an accurate analysis they take measurements of the features and distance between the features and then determine the ratios of measurements between the different features. That is basically how they do it. I think it's fairly simple to make a determination of what the skull likely was but rather difficult to make a 100% determination based on just the skull. Interesting process, I just wonder what took so long. I can see why the VSP would want to use the top forensic anthropology dep't in the country but did they know it was gonna take over two years to get a result? Seems weird that they were ok with that, maybe it was their only good option.

Orko Kringer wrote: I don't think the goshen NH info adds up to a whole lot. Maura drove well past that area the night she went missing. She ended up in the very same location she was set to have her honeymoon with Billy at (in the white mountains). Orky, What is your reasoning in writing off goshen? Just because she was past it at that point? What about the slack time in her trip? If she left at 4:00 that would've put her at the WB curve at approximately 6:45, it is a 2 hr 45 min drive according to google maps. I've done the drive, that's about right. That leaves 45 min of slack time in her trip. What was she doing for those extra 45 min? Well I mapped it from Amherst to goshen to the WB curve and stopping in goshen would make the trip 43 minutes longer. That actually lines up perfectly. Not saying that's evidence of anything except that it was definitely possible for her to pick someone up or meet someone in goshen on her way up and get to the WB curve at the correct time, in fact that timing lines up just right. . The fact is she spent NYE partying in goshen, NH. That could definitely be significant. I've yet to see anything saying it is not significant. Why are you so quick to write that off? Why didn't she spend NYE with billy? Generally young people, and older as well, spend NYE with their significant other, that is if they're getting along. I understand that they lived far away fom each other but why wouldn't they want to spend NYE together if their relationship was so strong, like it was originally depicted as being? So she didn't spend NYE with billy, she spent it in NH. Who else was at this party? Was it friends from her hometown? Umass? New friends? Does any of her family live in goshen? Why did the family choose to keep this fact a secret? Did LE tell them to keep it close or did they decide to do that on their own? I remember back on the original MM forum, before it even became MMM, this was definitely asked and never answered. Was the family hiding that just because it indicated that she and billy's relationship wasn't nearly as strong as the family made it out to be? It is very possible she met a guy at that party, that seems to happen a lot on NYE, it's also possible that's who she was going to see in NH. Sure looks like she brought drinks for two people and she certainly wasn't going to be able to pay for a condo with her $280, so I think it's hard to just write off the possibility she was meeting someone in NH. Do you have a good reason for dismissing the goshen angle besides she had already drove past there? That doesn't seem like a very good reason to me, particularly when you consider that she could've easily drive to goshen and made it to the WB curve when she did

She ended up in the very same location she was set to have her honeymoon with Billy at (in the white mountains). Orky- Where did you get that piece of info that she was "set" to have her honeymoon with billy in the white mts?? That is the first time I've ever heard that. They weren't even engaged yet, but they already had their honeymoon plans set? How does that make any sense? Idk, maybe they did have honeymoon plans set before they were even engaged but that sure isn't normal. She was only 21, she had at least one other semi-steady bf while she was with billy. Billy cheated on her at least a couple times including with her sisters best friend(what a dirtbag), the email she had printed up had some reference to his cheating correct? Sounds like they were a long way off from getting married, they'd both cheated in each other and certainly weren't engaged. Just seems weird that they would already have honeymoon plans set. Again, where did you get that little tidbit from? Also do you think they would really want to spend their honeymoon in the white mts? She obviously loved the white mts, she'd been going there since she was a kid. She lived three hours away, she could go there any time she wanted and went there often. But who plans their honeymoon to a place that they go to all the time and have been hundreds of times? Most people plan their honeymoon to an exotic place that they've never been before. She obviously wasn't like everyone else but it still seems weird that she would choose the white mts for her honeymoon, based strictly on the fact that she'd been there hundreds of times. What really doesn't make any sense is that they would already have honeymoon plans "set", when they hadn't even been engaged yet and have no marriage plans set. . Idk, but to me it looks pretty unlikely that they were even gonna get married if she didn't go missing. She was only 21, their relationship already had "serious problems" and they'd only been together for like 2-3 years. Does anybody actually think they were really gonna get married(except maybe Sharon)??

So most likely if I tried it, I would freak out and also probably get lost, and they would have to send the search and rescue after me.:-) I think you'd have to upload the photos to flickr or someplace like that and then post a link. I would love to see the photos if you are able to do it.

That is my best guess, I really was never that into the CSI end. Sorry AMy. Thanks FrmLE, Bill and Jenkins. FrmLE, are you able to answer Lighthouse's previous question about if LE knew where Maura was going to stay if she had reached her destination? I thought it was a good question. Sorry to be repetitive, but I'm not sure if you just don't read everything here or if you ignore certain questions on purpose because you don't want to compromise the investigation.

Just yesterday, i saw the photo of maura's car in the box to the side on Franconia Topix .

Well, don't forget that Maura had just told her close friend that she loved Billy and was willing to move to the flat and boring Oklahoma that he was stationed to. She had a nursing job lined up, but may have feared that any strikes against her might ruin that. It's all speculation. But no matter the trouble they had in maintaining the long distance relationship, Maura loved Billy more than anything else in her life.

You've heard about the bottle just outside the saturn with the strong smell of alcohol. Back on the first forums Helena et el said there was a strawberry candy stick that maura was known to use as a straw. Unless i am truely mistaken. No, I was pulled over by police after a bogus call from who knows who, if it's even true. police aren't giving that info up and the prosecuter works for my store, to punish bad checks. He could dismiss this at any point. in fact, I've helped that man find clothing in my store and am always helpful to customers. Like me or not, he has a job to do. that's why i'm stressed. it seems to be more about how harrassed I've been as the driver of a car (not mine), that had whiskey plates. Toxicology came back 0.016 which is absolutely nothing my lawyer said. i hadn't driven more that 200 feet when the officer blinded me. I think it was tasteless for you to say what you did to me. i only shared it with everyone because maybe maura had to go give a sample of blood or urine, and that's why she took so long from the time she left the dorm party, to the end of it. the time she got back to the motel. Sheeze.

FrmLE wrote: <quoted text> . I can't even begin to count the number of times you have said this exact same thing. I wonder, do you think that the more times you say it the more likely it will become true? Your posts are literally, COPY/PASTE repeats of countless previous posts. Can you come up with anything new? At all? As I have said many many many time before, for you to infer anything from what the NH State Police have done in this case is completely incorrect. You do not have the knowledge, background or intelligence to understand what anything LE does actualy means. But, let me repeat for the hundredth time. The only thing that can be infered from anything the NHSP has done or said in this case is that no one knows what happened to Maura, and that she is still a missing person. There is no conspiracy. The case was handled by NHSP Troop F Detectives up until 2009 when the NHCCU was formed. NHSP Major Crimes assisted in some aspects of the investigation, as they often do with many cases. Nothing can or should be infered from that at all, it is extremely commonplace. Because Jeff Strezlin commented on the case means nothing whatsoever other than it is and continues to be a high profile missing person case. There is nothing more. Period. I wonder how long it will be before you repeat the same nonsense you have posted ad-nauseam? I give you less than 2 days. He is clueless so give it up.
