Confused... RO actually posted this on topix:
"As I was walking up the hill, a truck passed me and slowed down. When it got to the middle of the hill it stopped in the road. I immediately looked at the plate and noticed it was from Massachusetts."
She doesn´t appear to be in any doubt it really was MA plates? I distinctly recall it was someone else who suggested it may have been the colors that made her believe it was.

A post brought over from Adv´s old site:

"RO stated that she reported the red truck sighting early on to LE and they seemed uninterested or unresponsive. At any rate, since someone was missing she/he had gone looking for a couple weeks in the area for the truck and then just let it go until o6 when the search came up and she posted online."

What I would like to know is WHY did LE have an interested in red trucks the night Maura vanished? Did they have reason to believe she was picked up by one? Were there a witness whose statement haven´t been made public?

As for the relative with the red truck, would that be the same relative who owned a second home in Bethlehem?

One more thing regarding RO... another post from Adv´s old site:

"Do you remember when RO announced she finally found a Red Truck like the one she saw on Feb 9th and was going to try to take a photo of it and dowload the photo to the MMM site? I want to say it was during the summer of 2007.(......)I waited for her response because I know exactly the type of truck she was describing.(....) Isn't it odd that so many people just happened to be around at the right time? Maybe Maura had a Gerber Life Policy, cashed it in, and now lives in Bermuda.

I have only 30ish pages of the Grafton County Log, for that time period, starting alphabetically from Alexandria to, I believe Littleton. Very faded and dog-eared. There were several HPD MV stops in Haverhill after mid-night on 2/10/04. One was a red Ford 250 P/U N.H.temp. plate 5xxxxx.

I realize tis isn't much help..but, I still hang in there for Maura's family and friends.

At least by being reactive, you'll actually look into a lead and prove/disprove it best you can.

Correction on my post... it didn´t come out quite right. The poster is saying she has a friend who has a Ford similar to the one RO saw, which he uses in his landscaping business. It´s not 'red truck driver' who is in landscaping. Sorry for any confusion.

And how does one follow up on the truck?

You know of a Truck, you know @ Massachusetts plates. But have you read the Edmonds Review?

Well, the red truck is a mystery within a mystery...
It seems fairly clear that a red pick-up truck likely was involved one way or other in Maura´s (?) sudden disappearance from the Saturn at the Weathered Barn curve on Rte 112.
Whether the driver of the truck was friend or foe, whether it had MA plates or temporary NH plates, and everything else for that matter, is an enigma, as is almost everything and anything concerning the Maura Murray case.

Why would you even mention this Anne? Is it really anyone's business who Snowy or anyone else here has contact with?
It's been said more than once that a small group here have been in contact with eachother for a long time outside of the forums.
Is it ok for some but not all? What am I missing here?
Can you tell us what real work has been done and what progress has been made so far? I think that is something that many here would love to hear about, I know I would. Progress is what everyone wants, right?
