I agree it's silly. And doesn't make much sense. I hope Anne hasn't been sneaking down to the wine cellar again.

Went out to dinner tonight with a family of Littleton, NH. They did indeed give me their opinion of LE in their area. McKay was one name,
and I did not reciprocate any answers.
In essence they gave their feelings of "just laying
low" in that area of Grafton County.
Pretty sad.....
It Was pretty much "everybody's pickin' on me...
bottom lip sticking' out...(insecurity?(Or) I am feel left out.....

Just as sweet as ever I see.
I do seem to be having trouble reading tonight. I thought I saw that you wanted the HPD to claim they didn't do enough to solve the disappearance of Maura Murray. And to apologize for their POI.(person of interest?). Please in English what is a POI?
I must be seeing things though because no one would be stupid enough to write such nonsense.
Under the mysterious curcumstances of MM leaving MA, coming here and wrecking her car in a snowbank with booze in the car in plain site, refusing help and leaving the scene of an accident I think that considering this isn't an uncommon event to avoid a DWI that all was done that could be done since there was no evidence that any crime was even committed.
There were several people searches, air searches, and dog searches. I can tell you I've never seen so many searches for one person as I saw for her.
So to say enough wasn't done and the HPD should apologize is just plain ignorant and idiotic IMO.

you've got a good 7 years ahead of you to chase red trucks, and today is as good as ever to start. be sure to stop by DD....it's time for another official PI meeting.
Not chasing red trucks FYI. But, you've been chasing your tail for seven years and have nothing. Try getting off your ass and actually doing something rather than passing judgement and coming to your own conclusions. Finding "THE RED TRUCK" in Woodsville would be like finding a needle in a haystack. There are more red trucks in Woodsville than you can imagine. The only reasons the person I spoke of was ever and is a person of interest is only because of a few things, 1) He lives in the area, 2) He has a red truck, 3) He refused to cooperate with LE, maybe out of insult but I don't know. I do know that innocent people do sometimes refuse to cooperate only because they take offense to being even thought of in that light. I circled that area yesterday I went up Bradley Hill Rd. and circled back to Woodsville via Rte. 116. Just looking down from 116 MHO it would be near impossible if not entirely impossible to find any signs of any human remains...PERIOD. There is a lot of vast land there and very hilly terrain, I just don't see it happening if MM is in there and especially after seven long years. I also no longer believe that the person should be considered a POI, he may be a little off but he's not a killer.

i haven't been here for 7 years; as usual, you don't have factual info.
we know there are red trucks in abundance. duh.
person of interest to who? you? doubt you have an inside line to the official investigation.
people have searched and searched to no avail in all seasons, and over many years, including several on this forum.
hmmm....now you've changed your tune.
whatever.
there are no new clues in recent years about her disappearance that have been released to the public.
this forum is a battle of wills and a battle to "crack the case"....some with a competitive edge, and some by their commitment to hard work, skill and intelligence.
as i've previously stated, and you might have missed...there was a 'party'/'circus' atmosphere on this and on previous forums, carried forward by the original group of folks who found the story of her disappearance compelling. this group, many of whom lurk today, and a few who take cheap shots, have repeated mis-information as truths.
which brings me to the "purpose" for a few of us....to recall and separate tall tales from the few pieces of information that are indisputable. and there are very few of those.
we are, otherwise, entertained by the lengths some will go to as they try to force a theory.
hope you had a decent weekend. and thanx for your efforts. no thanx, however, for insulting the rational amongst us.

Interesting, Bill. What made you change your mind? And how do you know, as you claimed in a previous post, he has been a POI to LE since the get go?

No matter how long you have been here, it doesn't matter. No matter what you think that person is a POI, he has been since the first week of MM's disappearance. Most people within a five mile radius of where her car was found are/were. That is LE protocol, that is why SBD was questioned while he was a person of interest and then later cleared. Also if you think this or any forum had anything to do with SBD's death, he died of old age, natural causes that's it. Here's one for you to ponder. Did you know that most cemeteries up here are closed in the winter because the ground is too hard to dig (it's like granite)to bury anything. So someone would have had to conceal MM, or like you have said and I have gave it great thought, she never made it there. They have been searching in the wrong area I think. JMO

Quite a few things made me change my mind starting with common sense, after driving around that area, and the fact that it would be near impossible to conceal a body all that time in that wooded area, it's too vast and most is tough terrain in the summer never mind dead of winter. I know about him being a POI from his son, niece, and my kids. They have seen the police come to his work and try to ask questions, which he denied to do so. So until he talks to police he will remain on the list, but I am sure they have quite a few anyways.

Thank you for admitting this is not a poi, it appears that you may have concluded what many of us have..it is a frustrating search for what happened to Maura on 2/9 although I want to say that I believe eventually there will come a break in this case that will solve it. Did you mimic the stance of a once famous lawyer and think with drama and attacks that it would expose someone? I am just wondering your objective in your statements. Thank you for your efforts on her and family's behalf. Rest assured, what goes around, comes around.

soooo....let's see....an interesting exercise. someone drops the name and identifying info about a local resident, and then suddenly retracts it. perfect. done, done and done. the implication for guilt sticks, and the retraction is merely incidental.

Well, the red truck is a mystery within a mystery...
It seems fairly clear that a red pick-up truck likely was involved one way or other in Mauraīs (?) sudden disappearance from the Saturn at the Weathered Barn curve on Rte 112.
Whether the driver of the truck was friend or foe, whether it had MA plates or temporary NH plates, and everything else for that matter, is an enigma, as is almost everything and anything concerning the Maura Murray case.
Euro, I believe you are correct, the red truck is a mystery within a mystery.

People do not become POIs just because they live within a certain radius of where a missing person was last seen, so if this guy really is a POI in the eyes of LE, there must be a more specific reason. WE know they were looking for red trucks already within a few hours of MMs disappearance, wonder what made them do that. Something a witness said, that havenīt been made public? I do agree they have been searching the wrong area, though. BTW, SBD was 63, so hardly died of old age.

RO told the police about the red truck that she encountered on 112, on her way to store that night.
