Nothing worth getting hurt about. And in that I include Jenkins and Shack and anyone else. Just don't ask me to be worried about dead cats. I draw the line there. Bill

Privacy of witnesses and those who gave statements was a concern, according to Landry and Strelzin's testimony on April 13, 2007. Is that what you mean?

As simple as it sounds, it could be that that a prosecution may be impending against MM rather than a POI who caused bodily harm, and that's what I was supposing. Sorry, I have alot on my mind....

I reread through the transcript today to answer a question for Bill. I don't see anything indicating that MM might be prosecuted for anything. Protecting witness statements was a concern though. And of course they want to be able to prosecute a POI at a later time, should it become clear in the future that Maura was murdered. To address this 75% thing: Strelzin's 75% estimate was regarding this: “I could give the judge a percentage based on my experience, generally, in criminal investigations, a prosecution on this case, I could give a percentage of what I think that likelihood is, but I acknowledge that there’s also a likelihood that this could simply be a missing person’s case that doesn’t have criminal overtones” https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7_atAFvowRhM... So, I agree with Bill. It's a general estimate based on his work in general with similar types of cases and has nothing to do with any evidence that Maura was killed.

Doesn't sound like a positive that Maura was even harmed. I hope that's true.

Police need to follow up on every lead there is. That alone would fill a book...so many theories, ppl coming to fred with claims. Police not going to the search sights that investigators chose. Sounds like miscommunication to me. Weeper and the like have stated they send everything on to police and don't hear back. They don't even expect to hear back, so how's anyone ever going to solve this that way?

101 pages of websleuths, that's interesting for sure. Almost unbelievable. What's interesting are the pages they have, reportedly they have the pages when these people like bill were still on WS before they got banned. They chose the pages that has people belligerently arguing the 'lost in the woods theory. Hard to sat what that means but it sure is interesting.

I'm in the MM files on webslothes as....a....a....dissenter. OH MY GOD! You could rephrase that to state that morons on webslothes were arguing belligerently and with no evidence of murder, rape, mayhem, police corruption, police inaction, conspiracy, oh god the conspiracies, bigfoot abduction, ufo abduction, burials in cellars, burials in ice covered ponds, and many more I am sure I haven't read since I left that site to the brain trust that resides there. I am sure they will have that case figured out anytime now. And to be clear, I was not banned. Find the threads, they should be there. I mean, if I really wanted to be there, how hard do you think it is to get back in. Look at the posters, does it it look like a Mensa convention to you? Bill

Jenky, Yeah, I know its not anything current that they have (of course they could still follow websleuths and even this site) I believe it was websleuth posts that occured in 2005 when websleuths first started with maura murray

Nhlover wrote: <quoted text> Hi Citigirl-let me explain the cell phone. I was hiking around the woods with my friend on an old road on rte 25 pike area, we found a phone in the water. He picked it up and brought it to the car with us. He took the battery out to see if it might work in his phone. The thinking at this point had nothing to do with anyone missing or anything unusual in our minds, as the Maura Murray case was not in my forethought, I had only moved back to that area about one year before and was not "up" on the case. I did know about it but didn't know the actual location. At that time I said why do you want that thing, it's old it's not going to work, its been wet, etc. He tossed it out the door. I know it sounds crazy now, but truely at that point, I did not think anything of it. 2 days later it came over me like a ton of bricks. Some how I put it togather and I realized the area was so close to the accident.(close in NH small town road terms). I had something to do that next day but all I could think of was that phone, so the next day I drove back up there, alone, and looked all around for it. It had snowed lightly and I just couldn't find it. I had such creepy feelings, as though, someone was around or knew where the area was, because I had asked about it on a site to see if her phone was ever missing or found. I believe it was that one writers site that has been doing all the investigating. When I posted about it, they seemed so unenthused. I had sent an email to an address he/they referred me too, but never heard anything else. I will look back and see if I can find any of the info of whom it was sent to. This case always bothers me because I've lived up there and heard so many stories from the natives about what they think happened and all. From a lesbian cop picked her up to a guy that lives in Pike and travels all the back roads when he hears calls over the police scanner. If you have anything else, I will check back... What writing investigators site are you referring to? Where were you on rt 25? Near Lake Tarelton at the intersection Of 25 and 118? Or were you near the intersection of 25 near Lyme Kiln Rd? Trying to pinpoint your location. Thank you.

Not to mention the community service they would do by picking up roadside trash. After all any beer bottle or candy wrap could be related to MM or her killer.
