I just want to also say I agree with Amy, Bill, Advocate and Wowzer's posts completely, and all were well written.

Jenkins, I just give up on you. Talk about argumentative, you will truly argue any point at all. Most normal people realize the dangers in having their identity revealed online, and both Beagle and Wowzer outlined some of those dangers. For you to deny this simply proves to me that you aren't very bright or mature.

Also, to say Renner's blog is obscure is not quite true - if you Google "Maura Murray," his blog is the third hit. The MM "Disappeared" show has over a 100,000 views, lots of those people will Google MM after watching it and come upon Renner's blog. The Beagle story was run on many news outlets at the time - in just the Boston area alone, it was probably seen by many thousands of people. That is a whole lot of people that potentially now know Beagle's real name.

Honestly, he posted his name when the videos first came out but quickly took it down back in Feb..

As to being outed; When I first started posting here, I really didn't have a clue ( I know Bill, it's not like I do now ). I am somewhat impulsive and honestly, not really scared of much. In fact I asked Lighthouse if I saw her on the highway and there was talk of us getting together for coffee, however, she graciously gave me a pass for my indiscretion and I was then educated by a few people on why one shouldn't put their personal info out there. I have children and even if I'm not concerned for myself, I don't have the right to expose them, so, I do agree. However, to deny that Beagle asked to be outed by someone with those bizarre videos he posted is to much for me. In so doing he Physically involved himself in this case and that is not only scary, it's dangerous.

Ok early in the year I came to this thread after not even reading about it for a couple years. I was absolutely shocked at what was going on. The thread had been taken over by weirdo trolls like you and wowzer an many many good posters had been run off, annoyed away.

That's why you need to use sources like "someone told me" right?
Perfect example: I post information that's been said on record by two different NHSP lieutenants, several media articles and a couple different witnesses including the sbd, and you come back with something completely different saying "someone told you". Interesting that your so called "facts", that "someone told you" always seem to be the exact opposite of what been stated on record by LE, witnesses and any other reliable source. But nope, we shouldn't believe witnesse who've spoke on record, we shouldn't believe the media or even LE Who've spoken on record, we should believe some anonymous Internet poster who says "someone told me".
The reason you need to use sources like "someone told me" is because your spewing bullshit. If you weren't, you would use actual reliable sources.

Kinda reminds me of fakeLE. We got this anonymous weirdo who's posting that claims to be ex NHSP. Interesting that pretty much everything he's said is the exact opposite of what's been stated on record by the real cops who actually worked this case. Something that should stand out as a red flag is the fact that fakeLE has changed his story. Originally he was an ex NHSP who worked this case, but only briefly. And then a few months later he said that he's never personally worked the case but he was shown the case file. As if any cop can view any case file just because they're interested. Yea, SURE dude. LOL

Seriously, you'd swear this was a forum about cooking meth and everyone here was running their own meth lab or something. The only other topic where I've ever heard of such extreme worrying about people finding out their identities is illegal drugs. I've never seen anything like this on any other Internet forums.
Seriously, can anyone name one other topic besides drugs where people are worried about their identities like on this thread? Can anyone point to one other forum where there is such extreme paranoia about people knowing who they really are that's not about drugs? Any other forum where this is even an issue?? It's really peculiar....

I can understand people not wanting their identities out there, I get it, but I don't understand the absolute extreme fear that they have of this. I mean they literally talk about it like If their identity gets revealed they're dead, that's it, better move or they're done.
I'm trying to think, there's been the Craigslist killer, which was huge news, I think there's been a couple other similar cases, but they all had to do with sex. Has there ever been one case where someone got killed or otherwise hurt because of regular, non sexual Internet communications?? Where the people didn't know each other. I can't think of one case, these people talk like it happens all the time.
I was also commenting on the massive irony in all this. These people seem to think its like sooooo ridiculous to suggest Maura got killed. That there's noooo way that she came across a killer that night. So on one hand they act like a beautiful young girl coming across a killer walking by herself on the road at night is so ridiculous, and on the other hand they act like if their info gets out they're gonna get killed.
It's also rather ironic that the same exact people that think it's soooo crazy to suggest Maura got killed that night say that they would never personally take a ride from someone because it's so dangerous.

They act like there's no way Maura got killed while at the same time act like there's a killer behind every keyboard and steering wheel. It's very ironic.

Boy I sure hope so. There are some interesting characters on this forum. They come up with bizarre scenarios with no evidence what so ever and some of them even accuse specific people in the area of crimes. I really do think that they should keep a close eye on some of these people. They have a history of trespass and total disregard for the rights of others.
