In the police report as published on Rennerīs blog, FM states that when he woke up the next morning, he found Maura sleeping in the bed. It appears she did indeed snuck in and go to sleep without waking him up. When she woke up, FM asked her something along the lines of "where is my car?".
I think FMīs many contradictions is very telling. Something was going on that he knew about, or possibly found out after her disappearance, but heīs not telling. One thing I would love to know is at what point in time did FM/family find out about the CC issue.
yes, agree. too many years of nonsense. i'd say the chicken has been plucked clean. every possible scenario has been suggested and discussed. critical elements are missing...details are withheld.

No, Bob. That is not what Lighthouse said. If you are talking about her post # 27677, she did NOT CALL MM a stupid drunk promiscuous girl -- what she said was that a description like that (of any girl) might interest GUYS throwing a party. Go back and actually read the post, you idiot.
I appreciate you explaining this to him. I specifically said:

"I did not say MM was any of these things. I just wanted to show you how you change your argument in mid paragraph."

What??? You mean Bob was full of shit? Are you saying that he just made something up and then tried to convince others it was true? Hard to believe. I mean its not like he has done that in the past. Oh, wait a minute, never-mind.

"I....you know, I wasn't actually all that upset, I was more concerned how I was going to get back to my job. It was SuNday, and all the car places were closed......"

Fred goes on to say that they looked at cars Saturday afternoon and picked out what type of car.
This story doesn't match with individual statements, no. But I can imagine Fred only wanted to cover the fine points and get as much of the story told as he couls in a short amount of time.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. So when I mentioned several years ago that the horse wasn't just dead but beaten to a pulp, I wasn't exaggerating?

Lets see, we have:
The car damage was or was not caused by the trees.
Maura was or was not seen at the car.
Maura might or might not have been seen running down the road.
Maura was or was not drinking/drunk.
There was or was not a Maura look-a-like at the car.
SBD was or was not a mass murderer.
The town collectively was or was not responsible for her disappearance.
The red truck did or did not have something to do with her disappearance.
Maura was or was not wearing various forms of footwear when she fled.
Maura's type of footwear would or would not make a difference in where she ran to.
There was or was not a man seen smoking in the car.

There are more, but I am sure that gives the feel.

Throw a dart, see where it lands and let the windmilling commence again. Not talking about you specifically, but this forum as an organism. Round 42........DING!

My take on Fred's statement " all the car places were closed" was that he is referring to car rental agencies and not dealerships. He is looking for a rental car to get back to work IMO. Which is exactly what he did. By luck the towing company also rented cars.

That's a huge stroke of luck. Because if he can't get a rental he can't get to work. He needs to get to work, and if he doesn't get that rental he would probably have to take MM's car. But if he takes MM's car she can't leave campus abruptly and go missing.

Him not taking MM's car and deciding to rent a car could have stopped her from leaving. I'm not sure if that is considered luck or a very strong coincidence that lead to a very negative circumstance for the family.

You think so? Seems kind of messy. Have to get a ride to the car rental place so your friend driving you may ask "where are you going when you have school?" To rent the car I'd imagine you would need some kind of deposit and I would think you need to tell them where you are going. With your own car you can just leave whenever you want - which is in essence what she did.

I'm not saying anything is wrong with what happened with FM not taking her car. Knowing my dad if he thought I was driving under the influence he would take the car away from me to prove a point. Especially if he needed a car and was coming back next week. Why rent when you can prove a point as well?

In my opinion this seems all backwards. MM crashes her father's car which he thinks is because she was driving drunk, rents a car, and tells everyone he was going to buy her a new car the following week. Seems like positive reinforcement that I'm not sure he would do.

If the horse has been so beaten to a pulp why do you bother even coming here? Why have you been here for years making thousands of posts?? & you can't say it's because your trying to stop the spread of bullshit because you will disagree with known facts stated in record by LE and witnesse with "facts" that "someone told you". When some anonymous Internet poster such as yourself comes out with a 'fact' that directly contradicts what two separate NHSP lieutenants have stated on record that can only be described as pure bullshit. So clearly your not preventing the spread of bullshit but rather spreading your own brand of BS.
Let's look at a couple of your points:

The car damage was not caused by a tree. We don't know what exactly caused it but all that damage was not caused by a tree or a snowbanks. So your 'it may or may not have been caused by a tree is BS.

Sbd was not a mass murderer, nobody has ever said that. People questioned his involvement & rightfully so bc he was the last person to see her and he told so many lies. Anyone who didn't question his involvement has their head up Their ass.
Nobody ever said the town was collectively involved in her dissapearance, where are you coming up with this crap are you just making shit up again??
Maura was not wearing various types of footwear she had regular low top sneakers, so that point is BS. & the type of shoes she was wearing absolutely makes a difference. There was 2.5' of snow on the ground!! You ain't walking anywhere far through 2.5' of snow wearing addidas, simple logic can tell you that, her choice of shoes dictated her options for gettin out of there. It's ridiculous to suggest that this girl was able to walk deep into the woods wearing those shoes, this is a girl who considered hiking a trail in summer a challenge, nvm the fact that the woods would be the absolute worst place to hide bc LE could've just followed the giant trail she would've left. A 5 yr old could track someone through 2.5' of fresh snow.

I could go on but I think I made my point that most of what you said is bullshit. Besides, I everyone is beating a dead horse & windmilling, then why the hell are you here doing it too?? We know your not stopping any bullshit so what's your reason? Oh yea, your here for entertainment. Dude comes to a forum about a missin girl who in all likelihood is dead & probably was murdered for 'entertainment'....damn, we got a really GREAT guy here. Lol

Who isn't here for entertainment is a better question? Did you write a letter to ID Discovery for airing the show? The show is made to keep you entertained so you keep watching so they get ratings and can than justify charging more for commercials.

ID Discover shows about 20 murder stories a day sometimes more and they are doing it because it interests people and they are entertained by watching it.

YAAAWWWWNNNN! Thank God I didn't need to read the entire post. I'll spell it slower. E-N-T-E-R-T-A-I-N-M-E-N-T and yes, to slow the spread of bullshit of which you seem to have become one of the prime purveyors of. Why do you write posts where you ask and then answer the questions, one right after the other? Oh, and to help you with the math. This isn't the only place I post, and in the beginning, it started with one post, years ago. I am not sure if you know that is actually a counter. The numbers actually start at one. Been here for quite a while helping to tamp down the bullshit and getting plenty of laughs.

FM could just as well have taken the Saturn. It wasnīt like MM needed it, she reportedly refused to drive it even around Amherst. So in effect she didnīt have a car, regardless of the Saturn being in the parking lot or not. I wonder if FM had reconsidered buying her a new car after the Corolla crash.

That's what I thought too upon listening to it again. He also said he was able to find one.
I then looked up "blue laws" commonwealth of MA back in 2004 was based on the old constition and Sunday being a day with no business, in effect mainly due to higher rates doing business on a Sunday. I learned that barbrs too had to agree on one day off a week.

On the website, Maura Murray Missing, under the section "All American Girl" it is stated that the Snow Banks were 2 foot from the roads being plowed.. & thats family stating that..

Its thier website & I think since they were searching they would know much more than most of us except the locals that post here..

All the cursing in peoples post will eventually be the death of this thread.. & I dont mean words like hell or damn.. The F bombs that are constantly dropped.. Its always some sick f this or your f'n stupid etc;

If people cant get their point across without cursing so much, especially when 90% or higher are women.. Thats "internet thugging".. That shows a lack of character.. IMO.. Anyway my flight just touched down at ACY & then im taking the train 2 NY.. Maybe I might goto Boston for the day cus my comps offer a free flight there for the day & fly back the same day to see the history there..

You talk about entertainment this whole case to you is like a spin off of SIM CITY. This game is SIM COLD CASE - where you can change the facts as much as you want to alter the theories.
"Computer today I would like standard settings to apply: I will be a federal agent with a glock - but change height of snow by 6 inches - have posters removed from two day intervals to a week - change cigarette to cigar - change the orange to apple, and I need another witness. Oh yah and computer lets make this really fun can we make MM a vegetarian I have an iron defeciency theory that needs to be tested. "

It's preposterous to suggest FM, of modest means, would reward her with a rental car after smashing his; anyway, 25 is the age for renting from most companies without incurring an additional daily fee for underage drivers.
So funny....we hear about her lack of driving experience, that she didn't get her license until after she turned 21 (for unexplained reasons), and now it's suggested her benevolent father would accommodate her after crashing his car by providing her with a rental. Some kind of disconnect.
The significant, contributing possibilities to explain her running away are mitigated to make us believe her disappearance had little to do with ongoing issues prior to her disappearing. Raise your hand if you're not fooled.
