He has told family that it was unusal that she would call with that same message multiple tiimes in the same day.....that is why he believes she was calling him to tell him about her trip,, but was unable to reach him because of us army duties.

Billy also said he knew Maura had called her own dorm room number THAT LAST CALL, to see if he may have left a message.

The reason I say this is that it is common for LE to make that request in on going investigations. I also haven't seen information being tossed around by family/friends prior to JR coming into the scene.
I personally don't think that JR dumped on Mauras family although he has gone down the track of insinuating that Fred knows more than he is saying etc..
If the Murray family accepted JR's offer to do an interview then it may compromise the investigation and it would be a no win situation.
Fred & family did appear on some shows but i am sure that they were very scripted with no new information really given to compromise things.

All good points. But if this is the case, why not just say they are not allowed to speak and erase this cloud of suspicion? Has anyone ever heard this stated by a family member?

From what I remember, Peabody is not a family member. And I would not rely on Websleuths as a fact checker. Peabody was the one that insisted that Maura & Billy were getting hitched in May. And a few other "sleuths" that spout their BS as fact.

Thanks citigirl. I have mentioned this before. For those that have never seen an airbag deployment, I'll let you decide. I don't know how far back you've read....but I've got about 5 years here, and the folks that predate me attest to information attributed to family members but delivered by their online "representatives".
Importantly, lots of misinformation has been put forth in the name of Maura Murray on various forums.
If you are "not allowed to speak" you remain silent; you don't tease, taunt and create and feed misinformation to the public.

Maybe so, we posted same time....but One of my family contacts implyed it was family. They were able to find out more as they went too, but at the beginning, they were spot on with some details

If I remember correctly, it was just someone that had a lot of contact with Helena, who barely knew Maura herself. I'm sure Citi will correct me if I'm wrong. But the point is, Websleuths harbors just as much BS as this site does, minus the nastiness.

It wasn't long after the word came out that the site was totally shut off. I had been getting good info off the site for a bit ( thanks frosty), Why was it shut off recently?

Maybe another means of shutting off info? Just throwing it out there as a thought to discuss.

Bill- I would think that most people have heard about airbag deployment and the force they can deliver. I mean there has been lots of media about kids not being allowed in the front seat etc because of this.That is one of the primary reasons that it is law to put a childs seat in the back of the car. Am I correct? It is not just cause of the impact but because of the air bag deployment.

To not put kids in child seats in the front is law. At least in NH it is anyway.
