Hey all -- a quick correction. Okay/Snowy credited me with MM's Wiki which was a nice thing to say, but I didn't do the Wiki. I did for a while work on a chart that listed info and what was true or believed to be true, with source if possible.......... Emmett, good news abt your AC place! If you find my sandals while hanging on the Boardwalk, let me know :)........ Sending this from my phone, first time trying it, hope it posts okay.

OKAY wrote: <quoted text> Have you not been paying attention to my posts? There's been nothing new for years...just rehashed and recycled misinformation. No one is trying to shut down the conversation. It's just tedious and pointless to go over the same topics so many times. Bill is more patient than I am. He keeps answering, over and over again. The burst of newbies on the scene and Beagle's vids sure made for some explosive interactions. It's still not clear to me why there are long time posters, hanger-on-ers and lurkers after so many years. Hell, ya. Only a real tip will bring about any movement in her disappearance. Yes, you did answer and agree. My question references the essence of my posts over many years...that arguing for years over what became of MM without verified, factual information is not productive, and is actually harmful when groups of forum posters have behaved like a lynch mob....accusing private citizens of being involved in her disappearance. This behavior started with the original MMM forums, and may explain, in part, why access to that link has been recently shut down. The history is not pretty, often disrespectful of kind-hearted, intelligent and eager sleuthers. Just FYI.

This place has really gotten weird lately. My basic, uneducated theory on what happened hasn't changed at all since day one. So much information put on this forum that is intriguing, but, for me, it all comes back to the fact that the dogs were only able to track her scent for a short distance and then it disappeared. Believe me, I am aware that I don't have alot of knowledge about this case and I'm certainly not trying to convince anyone here to agree with me, but, I thought it might be interesting to some that, regardless of all the information and theories brought forward in this forum and after reading back to the start of this particular forum, my original instincts are still the same and the biggest factor for me, again regardless of any particular argument to the contrary, is that the dogs lost the scent. My intent with this post is not to bring people back to the dog issue so it can be re-hashed or to continue the loop that this forum follows. My intent is simply to show that after listening to theories that range from very intelligent to completely bizarre, I still believe my original gut instinct.
