Yes, there will be new info in the book. But if I get any earth-shattering news before publication I will share it on the blog, first. No reason to withhold anything important.

Judged: 1 I have followed a lot of your blogs, Maura, Amy and Lisa. I have a question for you and I don't ask it with animosity; What is your justification for Putting so many names out there in Amy's case? You seem to run hot on Runkle, then it's on to someone else and then back to Runkle.I can understand putting people who have been convicted of a crime out there, but, and I could be wrong here, Dean has never been convicted of anything. It's my understanding that he was never charged in the case you mention of his former student. What if it turns out that he really did have nothing to do with Amy's murder? |

Judged: 1 Thank You Frostman but those are not the shoes that I am asking about. I would just like to know if any of her friends saw the shoes I describe being worned by Maura. |

Judged: 1 1 That "ping" occurred when someone driving north into New Hampshire from the WAKEFIELD/BOSTON area got within about a 23 mile range of the Londonderry NH Sprint tower. Now who did Maura know around there? Those little day trips to Boston even back while she was in high school. Let's see..... Wakefield, Bartlett, Boston??????? |
|
Saint Louis, MO |
Judged: 1 1 1 How does that make any sense? I'm sure a lot of cell phones were pinging off the Londenderry NH Tower that afternoon. Is that how police locate a missing person? They gather up info on all the pings going on at a particular random tower and then one by one try to connect them to their missing subject. Common sense would say that if you are investigating a missing person you are INTERESTED IN THE PERSON THAT IS MISSING'S phone and when it pings and when it doesn't ping. But I guess I am missing something. |
Judged: 1 1 1 My litmus test for deciding who to name on the blogs is whether those people have ever been proven to show violence toward women or children. Runkle was investigated multiple times for inappropriate behavior with students. Several students of his have come forward saying he crossed the line. And we have letters from him to one of his students that were sexual in nature. Runkle is still very much a suspect in Amy's case. |

I am curious as to what type of cell phone Maura owned and even more curious as to the cell phone's features. |

Judged: 1 1 OKAY, I do not believe the conspiracy theory and have never seen a troll (seeing is believing?)....don't believe the alien theory or that she was the victim of researchers. Do not believe the route the Saturn took is that important. Actually, I'm more interested in her cell phone, what kind it was and it's features. |

Judged: 1 1 1 The shit LE can do with cell phones is crazy nowadays, especially the Feds. People think turning off their phone solves the problem but they are sooooo wrong. The only way around it is to actually take the battery out of the phone. Trust me, there's been many a drug trafficker that's been caught because of this technology. Certain federal agencies have phones they call 'black phones', originally it was just the secret service but now all of the agencies are gettin them. The shit they can do with the black phones are unbelievable, use it as a mic when the phone is turned off, and it can basically clone someone's phone, any call or text that's made or received from the target's phone goes to the black phone too, it's crazy. I've never gotten to use one but I've seen it in action and it's phenomenal technology |

Judged: 1 1 1 "But after further research, I found out it was impossible for her to have gone I-93. She could not make it into range of londonderry NH by 4:37 p.m. for starters." Orko, I agree with the above. |
|
Judged: 1 1 1 . Probably thousands of calls pinged that tower that afternoon. But LE does NOT jus randomly pick towers. No need to. They would know exactly what towers Maura's phone pinged or anyone who called hers pinged. Obviously pings can be a great way to locate a missing person, it's been used quite successfully many times. But in addition to that, It can also be used to find someone who tried to call her and there whereabouts, and more importantly for this case, it can find the # of someone who tried to call her but never got connected. Which was the point of that affidavit. Cell phone pings can be used many different ways in missin persons cases and murder cases, many more than simply tryin to locate the missin person. |

Judged: 2 2 2 Through out the last years of discussion about Maura's cell phone, there were photographs. Those of you who are knowldgeable, go for it. All I recall is there was no GPS. I would search for links to shoes and cell phone info. but, I am tired. What happened to Maura, shoes and cell phone...! |

Hey aftermath- how could you possibly know this person was travelling up from the Wakefield or Boston area? Obviously if this person was travelling up they were coming from eastern mass but why do you say Wakefield? How do you know it wasn't Lowell? Or Worcester, or the south shore, RI, anywhere in the eastern half of the state where you would take 93 instead of 91? How do you know this stuff? Do you have any sorry of info to back this up or are we just supposed to take you at your word? I'm not trying to get on your case, I agree with most of what you say and think you're a valuable contributor here. Just sometimes you say things that just make me wonder how the hell you could possibly know it unless you are much more closely related to this case than anyone thinks. |

Judged: 2 2 2 YES, of course..... |

Judged: 1 1 1 Shack, Why was the FBI restricted to asking questions in MA? I see a lot of cases in other states where local LE when confronted with similar missing person cases, turn them over to the FBI. Have all of the residents who lived along that stretch of highway where the accident occurred moved away or do some still live there? I know SBD moved to FL and passed away. |

Thanks for the response James.
