Maura DID NOT have family in Bethlehem that She was close at all with, a very distant relative Maura DID NOT EVEN KNOW. This has been verified many times before. Rehashing the same things does not change a thing.!

Too bad that Cpl. McKay was not interviewed about this case before He died. I don't believe He was ever talked to by anyone about the case. Not saying He had any involvement but just that He was on duty that night in the neighboring town.

Rehashing the same things does not change a thing.! I never said that Maura had (close) family in Bethlehem- but if she was seeking refuge then she may have been possibly walking in that direction. Unfortunately without further new information, rehashing is all that exists. Maybe you can enlighten us on some new information. why so touchy?

JWB wrote: <quoted text> IF the CW sighting was Maura. CW most likely would have have come 116 to 112 as he was said to have worked in Franconia during that time. CW sighting was only given an approx of 4-5 miles from the crash site. It is approx 7 mile from the crash site to the intersection. I don't recall CW saying it was at the intersection. Poster Mathew duct tape was said to have been found 7.8 miles from the crash site (I believe). Findmaura, I am not familiar with information regarding the whereabouts of Mckay when he signed off. If Maura was trying to get to Bethlehem (family) or Bartlett ( condo) from the crash site then the route to take would have been rt 112 to Rt 116 The last sentence "trying to get to Bethlehem (family)" She did not know Her distant relatives from Bethlehem. SORRY....didn't mean to sound Touchy..! Just trying to clear up the story is all. To My knowledge Cpl. McKay was never interviewed by the P.I. Team.

McKay. it happens that McKay, whole an enforcer, was brutally shot and killed by a citizen. he was murdered; he was not a murderer.

I DO NOT believe McKay was involved in any way with the disappearance of Maura Murray. People mentioned His name so I brought up the interview. He would have heard the call and maybe even thought enough to head in that direction to see if He could aid in any way.

The relative with the second home in BEthlehem was a cousin of her mothers. He seems to have been quite close to Laurie, but unfortunately died himself a few months after she did.

findmaura wrote: <quoted text> Thats the road i was thinking,Route 116..Wasnt she possibly seen at that intersection?Could the "last known location&evidence" LE speaks of be that involving that B&B?Isnt that the same location Mckay signs off from? Feel free to correct me but as far as I know McKay was no where near that end of 116. He was at the Inn behind Kelly's Market(now Mac's markey)in the center of Franconia that night, two towns away and as jwb said several miles away. Findmaura I don't understand why you keep trying to tie the Franconia incident and Officer McKay into Maura's disappearance. Except for talk on here I haven't seen anything that ties the two things together. If you can supply any kind of proof or a link where you've seen any info pertaining to these two things being tied together somehow it would be appreciated.

Rehashing the same things does not change a thing.! This relative was not very distant. In fact he was a closer relative than those who have involved themselves with Mauraīs case. He may not have been close to Maura, but he was close as in in fairly regular contact with her mother. Feel free to contribute some new information so we donīt have to rehash!
