Yep, If I am ahead of someone "Traveling in tandem" with me and I no longer can see them in my rear view window (for minutes on) I just keep happily speeding along as planned. Eventually they will catch up with me. Wow.
Also if I am running away to canada or the jungles of tanzania, I would probably pack an overnight bag. That makes plenty of sense. Who needs clothes or things.
And if I am maura's father, then of course I am in cohoots with her escaping and starting a new life.
I will even continue (years later) to keep the act job up and go after police and pay investigators just for the spirit of getting one over on the rest of the world.
Wow,(not directed at you advocator) but the though process on here amazes me.
running from whom?
a love interest?
her dad?
the Vasi hit?
or with whom?
far out....but, who knows?
all this as wildly speculative as findmaura's favorite object of finger-pointing....McKay.

I am italian.. & ive been chatting with irish & scottish users on the body doodle page on fcb all day so it was kind of stuck in my mind.. But i did say what I meant just in different slang.. I didnt mean anything by it, but when you chat with people about tattoos across the pond all day, some of it gets stuck.. I didnt mean to use a Dr Seuss-ism.. Sorry :(

Looks like a few of you are slamming Renners theory. If he were to find Maura alive or dead, I imagine some of you not entertain the facts at all. You've revolved your life around this case do much you can't see the trees for the leaves. The end of the Maura saga would leave many of you a void that would be to great to fill and except. I'll kindly bow out of topix and follow Renners blog. There seems to be more open minds in that direction.

the topix drama is as much a grabber as the disappearance. escape while you can! that is, before you're drawn into it. or stay. i like your thinking.

Hey Bink, I'm just speaking for myself but if Renner did find Maura alive I'd be doing a happy dance and maybe even throw a party. And if he found that she was dead then I would just be relieved that it's finally over and her family, the people and LE of NH would finally have closure.
The void for most would soon be filled except for a very few that live and breath MM.

maybe you're an exception here. But I'm guessing if Renner is going to Ireland and is showcasing his theory , then there is some smoke to the fire.

I think Fred Murray thinks he's a very good actor.
Your implication is that Fred Murray knows what happened to his daughter. Let me ask you, even if he was acting all along, what need do you think he would have to petition the court to produce all the records in this case? That costs money, especially since it went from the superior court to the NH Supreme Court. It costs a lot of money in attorney's fees and court costs. I don't think Fred Murray is exactly rich, so those costs would have quite an impact on him. Please explain why he would go to such lengths if he knew that his daughter had run away.

You also have to take into account the missing 45 minutes that are not accounted for. If you travel the route Maura took from that ATM to the scene of the crash, you're left with an extra 45 minutes. I believe in that time she met up with the other driver and then they were traveling in tandem for a second location, where they would stay the night. I think she was on her way to Canada and the other driver was coming up 93 so they used the Kancamungus to connect.
For one thing, it is the Kancamagus Highway, and it is only know as that on the east side of the 93, not on the west side, where Maura's car was found.

So - the plan is to go to Canada. Maura drives up the 91, and her co-conspirator is driving up the 93. On the way to Canada, remember. They are looking for a place to meet. So, they decide that they will each head toward each other on an essentially east-west highway that does NOT go to Canada. Nor does this highway have a road that goes north to Canada. Nor does this highway have any real lodging options along it in February. Remember, this is a dark, mostly uninhabited road, which makes everybody wonder why Maura took it in the first place. So, for some reason, they have decided to leave the highways that actually DO head to Canada, and meet somewhere, apparently around the Weathered Barn as that is where you claim they both ended up at the same time. So, instead of meeting either in Lincoln, Franconia or Woodsville, they have chosen to meet a few miles east of Woodsville where there is essentially nothing. INSTEAD OF meeting in the towns that actually have overnight accomadations that are actually ON THE WAY TO CANADA. You say the accident was unplanned, so the rest of this is obviously planned. I doubt that the Weathered Barn or Bradley Hill Road showed up on Maura's New Hampshire map, so ... where did they plan to meet in between 91 and 93 and close to the Weathered Barn on 112, and how would they know when they got to the place that isn't on any map?

Hmmmm ...

I am perplexed why people seem to give you so much benefit of the doubt and accord you with such respect, or at least, more respect than anybody else that has been following this case. Yes, you have written a couple of books (not sure what that has to do with anything). Yes, you have gotten a bit more concrete information than all the others who have posted on these boards for years. But what I see is that here you are, a few short months before you start to write your book, and you really don't have a clue what happened to Maura Murray. You are here, still throwing stuff out, and hoping that some of it sticks. You have thrown stuff out all along, much of it no more valid than a lot of theories thrown out here and other MM forums. You even prematurely tried to tie Melissa Jenkins' death to Beagle.

If you find Maura, then good on you, but I'm not holding my breath.

i'd hope he'd know something, and want to know something!...that he would have asked every one of their family members, her friends, romantic interests and acquaintances whether they had a clue about what was happening in her life prior to her disappearance (assuming he didn't already know).
how can you be so certain "Fred Murray knows nothing."?
