Cervidae wrote: <quoted text> Oh Snowy :) I see you seem to get most of the lemons, fortunately they are a very versatile fruit. If you put half of one in your microwave and nuke it for about 3 minutes, it does wonders for those stubborn soup splashes. You'll have the cleanest microwave in the land! i didn't know! i've placed water with baking soda in a pyrex to do the job...but i absolutely love lemons!! thank you!

JR explained the source of his fascination with mysteries. your accusation is hideous, cowardly (behind a moniker) and inappropriate. and ignorant, of course.

I'm not much for award shows, but I'm hanging in (in between more mundane household chores) in anticipation for my daily quotation from "The Law According to Google." So much to learn here at Topix.:-) And you make a good point about Maura's mom and why she might've had good reason to wait at home. I certainly pass no judgment one way or another on Mrs. Murray or her involvement (or lack of involvement) in the searches. Too many unknowns, and she hasn't been as vocal with the media as other family members, so we don't know her side of it.

Ridiculous wrote: Now JWB and Frostman, As entertaining as your orgy war stories are, and believe me, the visuals of a man that is half woman and another that is made of snow, fumbling around in a dorm room full of naked teenagers trying to figure out who to thank for sexual favors,is, although quite disturbing, very entertaining, I must remind you, please stay within the confines of dead horse beating... Thanks.. ; ) ...is the dead horse at the party too?

Hi Tang, We all comprehended (those of us who are capable of comprehension) that you were asking James Renner, in light of his recent blog post, if he was knowledgeable as to whether his grandfather had spent time (and possibly preyed) in NH. Thank you for your continued concern regarding all of the missing and unsolved criminal cases that you follow. IMO Snoozy misread your post and responded in an inappropriate and unintelligible manner (quelle surprise!). It happens quite a lot here on Topix — certain posters misinterpret and subsequently take one word out of your post and (for example) inflict their own pseudo Scientific American torturous babble upon all of us.:)

I remember reading that when Maura left the dorm party that she walked Kate to her dorm room along with her (Kate's) brother. Does anyone remember this? I will need to look for it.

mcsmom wrote: <quoted text> I got a strange vibe there as well. I spent this past week at Mansfield, went to the Mountain Chapel last Sunday. Of course it's hard not to think of Maura while I'm there, but a few times I thought, based on Maura's "Notes to Nana", there's just no way Maura would not contact her family if she could. Her character was evidenced in her writing, and that persona would have reached out by now, someway, somehow. . It's very difficult to hike in the winter, without the proper footwear... mcsmom wrote:**I got a strange vibe there as well.** Me too. Everytime I go by there the hair stands up on my arms, neck, legs and head. Not a pretty sight and I had to stop going near the place after Sassy sasquatch tried to drag me to his cave.
