I wouldn't say a lot.The reason I say this is because when an ambulance or firetrucks come through here I sometimes get calls from my neighbors asking where they are going. It's a small area and most everyone knows each other so we worry when the blue or red lights go by. I listen to mine often.
There are more and more new people moving in each year and I have no idea if they would have a scanner.

If a car goes off the road up here in the wintertime the driver usually goes to the nearest house and asks for help to either help push or pull their vehicle out with chains.
I've gone off the road twice in the past. One time a neighbor stopped and pushed me out of the bank I was stuck in and the second time two young guys stopped and pulled my car out with a chain. No police were ever called although several people saw my car off the road.

I don't understand. You're first talking about 3 houses in which two contact LE and one doesn't.
Now you're saying you talked to a person and was bothered about what they said about several neighbors.
Citigirl people up here usually don't call the police for every car that goes off the road. I don't find it odd that one out of three houses didn't call LE especially if they saw the school bus there helping her.
I have no idea what you are trying to say about a person talking about several neighbors. Everyone already knows about the 5 houses that were in sight of Maura's accident. They have been scrutinized for so long on these forums that I'm sure there can't be any secrets that we don't know about.

Kind of what is shown in the diagram in the officers report. Hmmmmmmmm. I mean he just calls them trees. He apparently doesn't have your tree knowledge but everything else in the report is spot on. About how the tracks go into and reflect off of the trees. How the car lays, etc. Very good report actually, you should read it.
