There are more and it takes someone trained to actually extrapolate its meaning to other areas. Not an exact science but probably would want to trust someone who has done hundreds of these to someone who say, has never done one, ever.

If I need to help explain to you what CASIE is or how to interpret the charts or fancy words, let me know. Now this is what is referred to as a retrospective cohort study. Don't worry about the fancy words. Just try to read it and understand the number of searches, and the way the helicopter was used and the probabilities that were derived from those searches. You will see that they are the numbers that I listed for desert and mountainous terrain.

I should also point out I only read the first installment of your posts. Couldn't understand why you thought your post was important enough to post almost twice, with small modification. But I'm not you. As an example, when I post something, I have references, good references, and some knowledge. When you post. Your habit is to spout crap, then backpedal when you are shown that you just pulled your "facts" out of thin air with no supporting documentation.

Amy, I have always liked posting alongside you...and enjoy hearing your point of view.

So please know that it is with the utmost respect that I question why you would think Beagle stopped posting due to the jackassery of this thread.

I'd humbly suggest that he was treated (by the vast majority of posters here), relatively kindly, given some of his shenanigans.

Definitely Snowy and Wowzer. Perhaps more.

Although I did, and still do, actually, take issue with his Mr112 persona and the videos he made, I try to reserve judgment.

I'm confused as to why you would think he stopped posting due to....well, all of us.

I have to say I don't understand some of the animosity towards Amy. I have seen her ask some intelligent questions and I don't think she has actually come to an opinion on this case, nor stated one that I know of. From what I have read I think she is still open minded and trying to understand the case with no preconceived notions. Like I said, I really don't understand what sparked the animosity. Just my thoughts.
