either OCD or the desire to see SOBs like Keyes caught BEFORE they kill anyone else. it is fascinating that that concept is the cause of ridicule and dismissal.

what about Louise Chaput, who was indeed abducted and murdered? I'd say that she took a vacation, but I don't believe that many close to her knew exactly where she was going. Would you call her a "runaway"? we know that her killer has not been identified or caught, we have no idea where he (possibly she, I suppose) might be. Pinkham Notch is not at all far fromm Swiftwater. Lots more cases, it is not out of the realm of possibility that some may be related. But that's just "OCD" talking, huh.
Where Louise was found would be on a rte. to Maine, possibly a rte. that Keyes may have taken.

or Rooney or anyone with a penis. i mean, the man-fear has been proven by all the frightened women that have shown up here en masse in the past. now it's Keyes.

I reread butch's statements and the other witness statements and I think her bahavior, at least to me, seems like plan B was in play and butch made her hurry up and leave the car fast. He said there were other cars passing by his house that would have had to have passed the Saturn.
Taking the booze and backpack makes me think it was plan B. The rag in the tailpipe is just WTF? A message perhaps?
If she had no plan B, I think she would have abandoned the car sooner because butch said she was cold and shivering. She would have hitched a ride sooner or went to a house.
Fred welcome to the forum. You have some good questions and points.

saturday morning. a fresh breeze blows in. time to restart the engines of casual sleuthing, researching and chit chattery.
so far, so good. the usual suspects have held back on Firday-nite-drunk-typeeee. but, the long weekend is young.
it's foot-a-balla-time-a and the tops will pop.
we haven't done the jigger campground thingy in awhile, but i was reminded by the kahlua jiggering in the back-a-packa.
hmmm....clue.
sleuth.
i wonder.
interesting.
maybe.
what if.
chit chattery. birds cheep cheeping. seeds flying. bike pedaling. still coming up with....nothing.
i would like to correct some spelling errors; stickler for that. seems like k*a*h*l*u*a comes more easily than c*a*r*i*n*g. some people just add a lot of "e"s.
there's my 2 cents from my 6th sense.
beware The Boogeyman, The Ruthless Jackasses, and The Least Careing (an extra "e" for good measure).
Topix space is free. what if they charged?
seems like you are not finding anything here that you like. I wonder why you are here then if nothing is what you are looking for. you might want to try the knitting thread- Just saying.

Maura talk a no go with you then you might want to change channels.

It was like a canoe carrier frame. At the time when I was looking it had a ski carrier attached to the top.

so now i'm thinking that may never take place, except in the context of the official investigation. everyone is floundering....because there a so few confirmed facts, and a dump truck load of speculation.
meanwhile, space wasted by flogging the already dead horse.
sometimes amusing, sometimes annoying, sometimes entertaining, and often a shining example of communal OCD.
ya know - you really offer very little to the conversation. I am sure that you think you are so witty and smart but your posts really are silly and you sound like you might be ready to join Frmlee into a to challenge him to shuffleboard in Fla.

By the way- you never answered sophies last question to you. How convenient. I am sure you will post some snide dumb remark but still evad her question and still no contribution to this thread.

New 2005- Funny thing is is that this truck I have not seen sense and this truck had a RACK ON TOP
There were alot of red trucks the year Maura disappeared. It was a popular color back then. I dont get what the red truck with a rack on top has anything to do with this case. This does not even fit the description of the truck RO saw.

yes I know but the roads do go east some what after you cross, If you look at the road going east however you will see the roads on the other side of the river that I was talking about. They are not visible from 112- never been on them at all but they look like you can get to them if you cross the river and go through the woods.

I can probably answer your questions as to what she saw but I've been gone a couple of days and will not be accused of coming out of the woodwork because the red truck was mentioned.

I don't think citigirl is a relative of Mauras- sorry- not trying to instigate but that is my feeling. Citigirls posts just don't add up to a family member searching for another family member. Citigirls posts really appear or have the feel of an attorney protecting a client.Citigirls posts are constantly nit picking . I am not bashing you in any way but that is the feeling I get and I know for a fact that I am in company with 6 plus others that feel the same way. If you are a relative then you are guarding information- very obvious. You attack tang and I that have put many hours in to help
and that is a red flag.

I have been on several of them. Looking at a map is totally different than actually driving these roads. May I suggest that you try traveling up some of the roads that you have named and you will understand what Iam talking about. Several of them are dirt roads with rough terrain.

funny - I remember I went to lunch one day and you ran me up and down one side and the other cause I didn't answer your post at the drop of a hat. That was the same day you wanted to meet me for lunch to chit chat.
