I keep explaining that my contribution is to hold up the "Ridiculous" to the light so it can be recognized as such. I have never claimed to have a bag full of tools. Sarcasm is the hammer I swing because it's basically all that I have! Bob just doesn't like getting nailed. He's not adverse to screwing himself on occasion however.... ; )

Well to be honest Bob I don't know if Maura was killed and I don't know if she walked into the woods and died from the elements and I don't know if she started a new life somewhere. None of us knows what happened to Maura and the same things have been talked about to death.

Since there's been talks lately about maybe putting up posters I'd like to suggest something. If you are putting up a missing poster it would be great if you bring a staple gun and staple each corner of the poster. I recently saw one that was nailed on the tree with 2 nails in the middle of the poster. Both sides are folded by the wind and it's impossible to see what's on the poster. Oh and let's not forget to ask whoever owns the tree if it's ok to put a poster up. I'm sure most will say yes if you don't use big nails.

I'm still having problems understanding what rang was saying about the red truck. Was he saying that the red truck pulled over at 5:26am was THE red truck that was spotted by RO, on the side of BHR and then he adds in that the same truck was seen in the parking lot at umass before she left. To me that just makes no sense, that implies the red truck knew Maura, which doesnt make sense to me Arthur point especially if LE pulled it over that morning, if they pulled the guy over, he's connected to Maura, how the hell have they not caught the guy in 9 years? Imsorry but that makes zero sense to me. I still think the red truck is the key to this whole case & if you find out who was driving that truck you find out who killed Maura. But I also feel like the truck was not known to Maura beforehand, the NHSP would look so so bad if it was someone she knew, and they pulled him over that night and jt took then over 9 years to arrest him. That's unbelievable.

of course, this topix thread has made a cynic of me, but having sat through and participated in discussions over so many years, the mention of whether MM actually arrived in the saturn at its resting place in NH as a possible theory, especially at this late date in his "search" for MM, tells me i would be immensely disappointed in reading what may be yet another rehash. that is not to say the subject has not been well researched and supported by documents obtained, but the reality is that every crevice seems to have been peeked into, and almost every door slams shut. the gaps in obtaining meaningful, factual information is just too wide to bridge. i, for one, am not interested in rehash without conclusion...after all, i could do that myself. i say this with regret, and without malice intended.

actually, the subject of the lecture we attended this week had to do with JFK's assassination and the CIA.
it is chilling to read the Olson account, whether or not there is any relationship to Beagle, and it gives more credence to the theory proposed by the lecturer.

I cant recall the location. just because they pulled this truck over it does not mean there was a connection to Maura. red was a very popular color that year. RO saw a red truck while walking to the store and in the parking lot of the store. there was someone else that had said they saw a red truck on BHR. A poster in the past had mentioned a red truck parked at or near the Umass area that had ties to NH. no one to my knowledge has ever stated a red truck was seen in the Umass parking lot before Maura left. I think you misunderstood Tang. It is unknown if these sightings of the truck were all the same truck.dont even know if a red truck was invoved in Mauras disappearance.
