Now that you have done that I will be interested in seeing what questions you might come up with. I don't think that any questions you might have that wouldn't have already been answered since there are so few facts. But it will certainly be interesting to hear from someone who has done his/her research. And Ridiculous, you are killing me with some of your comments. Too funny. And hello Snowy and Wowzer, good to see you two still in here. Some more normalcy in a sea of fantasy. You to Emmett. Spending four days in NH. It's great that my job lets me work from here sometimes. Just out on the ice. Nice walk. Got to be dressed for it though. I love it up here. Those of you watching, enjoy the superbowl. Later guys, Bill Hi Bill, good to see you stop in even if it's briefly. And I agree it will be interesting to get input from someone that actually researched the sites. Careful of the ice. From what I hear it's not all that safe this year. But I'm sure you already knew that and checked it out before walking on it. Have fun, stay warm and enjoy the scenery. I'm getting the popcorn and hot chocolate ready for a night of fun and excitement.

Those posters that have been here to long should take a look in the mirror and ask themselves why they came here in the first place and if they are still here for the same reasons. I don't think so

JWB wrote: I see it this way - You have 4 long time posters been here and have spent way to much time getting banned from other forums and yelled at over the years from others because of the abuse that give out to others that want to talk about Maura. You may have started caring about Maura but it is now different. They ( big 4) yell windmill- because they are bored and have nothing to give anymore. This is their life and they can't stop posting and so have nothing to do but insult people. Enter new posters with no research - Those that try to give input or questions are slammed cause it is boring to those that have been here (big 4) 9 plus years, Is that right? absolutely not!!! help educate nicely if they are interested in Maura. Then the other crowd that comes here such as Ridic that knows nothing about the case but is Mr funny insulting. The old crew(big 4) just loves cause then they can rest. Think about it? This is just an entertainment game and has nothing to do with finding Maura Murray and that is just wrong. Whew! Sure glad you aren't talking about me. I've never been banned from anything especially an internet site. You had me worried for a minute Bob.

I love how bill chimes in w his compliment for ridiculous. I'm sorry to say but absolutely no NORMAL person would ever think this guy's multitude of long, pointless posts are funny. There's just no freekin way. I tried reading em last week, they're just so insanely mind-numbing and stupid that I just can't do it and don't even try anymore, it's insta-skip when I see those completely ridiculous, and pointless posts. No way in hell I'm wasting my time reading that trash. I would I they were actually funny, but they're not even close. I love funny shit, and this dudes posts are anything but. You're totally right JWB, there is no point in this guy being here, I'm sure HE has some purpose to it, but it's certainly not advancing the conversation in ANY meaningful or useful way. Idk of even one post that he's made about the topic of the thread. All he does is try to attack other posters and make post after post of mindless drivel. But HE must think he's here for some purpose, this guys been on this thread literally all day, from early morning to late at night every day for the past couple weeks now. Pretty stupid for someone who thinks the whole topic is a complete waste of time. The fact that these weirdos are encouraging him says A LOT about why they're truly here and what kind of people they are in general.

Gosh I wish I knew he was having a bon fire. I would have been happy to join him in old Topix war stories while roasting those marshmallows. Heck I would have brought the chocolate and graham crackers for some smores. I don't have to ask how safe it is around here. I live here everyday...unafraid.

I don't think that any questions you might have that wouldn't have already been answered since there are so few facts. But it will certainly be interesting to hear from someone who has done his/her research. well, to be fair, i don't consider myself having finished yet, so i'll probably go dark again for another several weeks while i continue reading. i do, however, feel that i will be adequately informed enough to know when i am posting new or at least original thoughts on maura's disappearance by sheer fact of having read through and researched most available online resources. and, for the record, i have had no prior affiliation with any of the aforementioned forums before posting here, am in no way affiliated with the murray family or with locals in the area of maura's disappearance or with amherst and umass. additionally, i am not a journalist undercover, or working with one, nor am i involved with any of the investigations – past or present – into maura's disappearance. what i am is just an ordinary person who is intrigued with the story and with a personality quirk of wanting to know every last by of information about anything that interests me. occasionally that extends to stories like maura's disappearance and wanting to know and organize all available information into a coherent whole. the chances of that happening in this case are small, but the story still intrigues me enough to want to try.

What baffles me is that so many women ride bikes and walk that very same area every summer. They ride 112 and 116 and make it safely to where ever they are going. I've walked that area before and have never felt afraid. To have someone disappear in such a short window of time is almost beyond belief. It's apparent you have been researching. Good for you.

oh, and i was wrong in my initial "checking in " post on my page tally. i had just crossed over 300 pages of this thread, not 200. now up to 317. honestly, at times it's a tedious slog. but i don't want to "cheat" and say i did when i didn't. so i'm making myself go completely through the thread, page by page. i'll just think of it as an endurance race.(ok, i'll stop patting myself on the back now. ;))

Why can't anyone stand up for what they think and have to choose sides? I say insecure and a stupid game/ I call out both sides to get to the truth. All good points you've been making JWB; a few of these people, namely Bill and ridiculous are clearly very insecure about themselves. I find it funny how insucure they look and that they don't even realize it, Bill has ALL of the classic characteristics of someone who is seriously unsecure, he's textbook insecure, there is no question. These people and they're group think is very weird, it's like they have to choose sides and they don't care what anybody on their side says, it can be a total lie, assumption stated as fact, just plain wrong info, attacks on other posters, they just don't care. If the person is on their side then that person can do no wrong. But then when someone else who is not on their side says something, no matter how well researched and true it is, hey just can't help but attack it, even if they have nothing to counter it with. Perfect example: when people were questioning my assertion that there was n fact 2.5' of snow on the ground. I posted quotes from 2 seperate NHSP lieutenants that were on the ground actually participating in the search for Maura, I also quoted media reports and quoted other locals, including bill's own person hero the SBD, who ALL said there was 2.5' of snow on the ground. There is no question as to the amount of snow on the ground, EVERY media report and person who was on the ground and spoke on record about it were in agreement about it. And how does Bill counter this fact? He said 'someone told him'. LOL, wow awesome source there guy, someone told you? Really?? Wow, that should change everybody's opinion, someone told some anonymous person online. That's gotta be the most reliable source on earth, some anonymous weirdo posting online claiming that 'someone told him' LOL. Did any of these people call bill out on this obvous BS? Nope, they encouraged him. That is just a perfect example of how truly full of shit these people are. To them it is a game, it is entertainment. IMO it is a truly sick fom of entertainment, to be a troll on an internet forum dedicated to finding out what happened to a missing girl who was in all likelihood murdered. Absolutely sickening that anyone would choose that as their form of entertainment. This is why I call them the weirdos, you gotta seriously be a true weirdo to consider that your form of entertainment. IF that doesn't speak volumes about what kind of people they really are, then idk what does. The fact that Bill would write 'in memory of SBD' after his posts, but would NEVER write 'in memory of Maura' after his posts is truly sickening and a great example of how whacked in the head these people truly are. Keep doing what you do JWB, don't let these idiots who admitecly don't care about MM get in your way. I think the only thing that can be done at this point is to try to ignore them as much as possible. They're here to start arguments and disrupt the convo, so everytime I get into it with them it's exactly wat they're shooting for. I know it's hard, these people are good at pushing buttons, but it's the only thing that can be done at this point, IMO.
