Jesus SS. Lets not confuse jenkins with terminology that he may need to look up. Any reasonable jury would know that she had an open container in the car and there is no reason for an open container unless you are drinking from it. And no reason to run from an accident unless you don't want to talk to police about the crash. But when you graduate from Bill and Toms criminal justice and hair care college. You might not learn things like this.
Bill
Actually bill you have no clue what you're talking about. An open container in a car, or even just next to the car is INDICATIVE of having an open container in the car, which in no way proves anyone was drunk, all that is is an indication someone was probably drinking.
And heres your problem with your whole jury scenario, something like that work never be in front of a jury, having an open container in your car is not proof of DUI by any stretch. If she turned up the next day she maybe would've gotten a ticket. The coke bottle wasn't even in the car, there's no proof it even came from her car, there's no proof she was drunk, there's nothing. Althought most cops would write open container ticket anyways not expecting her to fight it, which most people wouldn't.
If she was there she would've either passed the field sobriety test or not, there would be no jury trial, WTH are you talking about WTH? You talk out your ass and try to make yourself sound REALLY smart when in reality you don't know WTH you're talking about half the time. Half the time you do, but unfortunately when it comes to things about this case suddenly you talk out your ass all the time, weird.

So there's no jury trial and there's no proof anyone was drunk

And a big howdy-do back to you.:) As Wowzer said, hope you're enjoying your visit to our lovely state, but be really careful of that ice. Last Sunday, I saw all kinds of people ice fishing on a nearby large pond. It was in the 50s on Tuesday and Wednesday, and by Thursday, a lot had melted, then refroze that night, so I'm sure it looks much safer than it is.
<quoted text>
Pssst, Ridiculous, don't tell your wife this, but I LOVE YOU!!!! I have ruined so many shirts now by spitting out whatever I am drinking when I read your posts, but I don't care because I haven't laughed so much so consistently in years.:)
"You think you're smart with your big fancy words?" I almost died laughing!!!!!
Now, if somebody could just help me get out of this nutshell, I would be forever uber grateful!
:)
Actually my wife was just telling me the other day to watch out with you, Snowy and Wowzer....Something about playing with the big girls and possibly getting exposed for the intellectual that I'm not! What the hell does she know, she just paid BMW money for a Hyundai! I told her to slip into something tight and uncomfortable and get back into the kitchen where she belongs..Needless to say, that didn't go very well. I don't mind sleeping on the couch, but with these bruises and lacerations, it kinda sucks... ; )

Yes I know about the red truck sightings and the truck that was pulled over at 5:26am the next morning, along with several other trucks, a couple others being red as well.
I agree that in all likelihood the truck pulled over that tang pointed out has absolutely nothing to do with anything, but tang implied that it did. Maybe I misunderstood what he said, but that's why I asked him to explain which, surprise surprise, he didn't.
It certainly seemed like he implied all of the sightings, including the one in the umass parking lot were the same truck and by pointing out the 5:26 truck he obviously implied that was THE red truck. Personally I think there's no way it's the same red truck, tang actually made a couple 2-3 posts implying that truck was THE truck.
I would love to know how he reached that conclusion and if there's anything to it, or if that's just what he thinks. He said something about the 5:26am tuck having connections to the area and to umass, which is a direct impication that the truck may be connected.
He also said something about it having NH temp tags on it, which do have red writing. RO said that it was possible the truck had temp tags with red writing on them but she was pretty convinced that the truck had mass plates. She said she looked down at the plates just out of habit and that she noticed theyere mass plates and remembered it bc they weren't NH plates. But she also wasn't expecting anyone to go missing around the corner and didn't pay THAT much attention to them, she just noticed they were mass plates. back on the old MMM forum I intereacted with RO many times both on the forum and by email specifically about the red truck.
Also while red trucks may have been a popular color that year it is not a 2004 red truck that is the truck in question. The truck RO saw and described was made from the mid 80's through the early 90's, it was not a new truck. It had to have been over 10 yrs old, just in the interest of accuracy.
I did not say the truck RO saw was new or a 2004. What I said is that red was a popular color the year Maura disappeared.

Funny you mention that. One of the best trucks I ever owned was a F-150 with a straight six. Had over 100K miles on it when I finally sold it. That was the truck in "brilliant blue" that I mentioned. Outstanding vehicle and especially the engine.
Bill
My first new truck in my early twenties and the next two after it had this same motor. I believe it was called the M-3. The most bomb proof six cylinder lugger that ever hit the road! I've had everything from 250's to 350's but it was a sad day when they quit making that thing. I hesitate to mention this, as I don't want Tang prowling around my yard, but my youngest son has shown a precocious mechanical aptitude and interest. He actually has a half finished project truck, a mid nineties F-150 flare side that he bought with his own money that he is building with his step Grand Father. Came with the old straight six but now has a 351 interceptor motor with dual exhaust, Holley 4 barrel and B+M ratcheting shift kit. Should have way over three hundred horse when they are done. They have a long ways to go, but, he's only eight so no hurry! Yes, it is red, his absolute favorite color. Tang, no he it's not him, he was born in 04... ; )

Interesting how you can't come to grips with the drinking and driving, but the red truck and the serial killers with no evidence is still on the table as plausable.

If you can't come to a logical conclusion that maybe she was drinking and driving than how can you even consider anything else with so little evidence?

Although I appreciate the compliment, I would be remiss to not realize that the pool of reliable dance partners consist of a crazy man that is often a crazy old lady and a man with a questionable vocabulary and one of the most extreme ass obsessions I've ever seen.
Bill, Emmett and all of the other Gentlemen that are good dancers refuse to turn out for these events consistently enough to get the vote, otherwise, I would be "exposed" as the two left footed dancer that I really am.. ; )

Yeah, I don't remember what they called it but it was a 300ci straight six and it had great torque and horsepower. If I remember correctly it had a 5 speed standard transmission. Really nice truck. My kids grew up in that truck.

Keep up the good work. You are helping the conversation of the thread by every post you make.
My advice is to dump the old bag Snowy and re examine why you came here in the first place and what this forum was started for.
Ask yourself
1) Have I imputed anything to help stimulate the search for Maura.
2) Am I here because I care what happened to Maura.
I see Q 1) No and Q2) no with you ridic
No evidence to say otherwise.

Torque like a diesel. Fifth gear was like an overdrive, but that thing would haul a two ton trailer at thirty miles an hour in fourth gear..!
