A rather interesting development on the Maura Murray Missing Facebook Group the other day.
A former NH State Trooper (ex Troop A) joined the MMM Facebook Group and explained that he was part of the search team shortly after Maura´s disappearance.
He goes on to say that he doesn´t think that Maura committed suicide or succumbed to the elements, and that there early on was a local Person of Interest at the time living fairly close to where Maura´s Saturn ended up.
The ex State Trooper goes on to say that this POI refused to have his property searched by LE.
Enough to make one wonder...

I don't have dispatch notes in front of me. But look again.
True they did call the atwoods.....But

The dispatch notes that contain the quote about not knowing where the female is was at 19:48 - therefore, your scenario lines up as you said. Smith arrived at the vehicle at 19:45 and knew the driver was gone.

Yes, correct. This is most likely the dialogue from when Dispatch called the Atwood's as per Sgt Smith's request:

"This is 911. Our officer is on scene and asked us to call you back. Your original call said there was a female driver at the scene; however, upon arrival, our officer says there isn't a female on scene. Did you happen to see where the driver went? "

Atwood's wife's response was "Yes, my husband saw the accident and came here to call but has no idea where the female is." In other words, she was there when Atwood saw the accident but has no idea where she subsequently went (after he left)........

And yet there are only a handful of posts.
This exactly.

Tang I disagree with your assessment concerning people Protecting the red truck. Honestly, it's ridiculous. You have been bringing it up for weeks. People keep asking you to give us something solid. What have you actually got? I've asked you numerous question concerning this vehicle and you aren't very forthcoming. Have you traced it to an individual, and if so, does this person have a criminal record? Can you tie it in to Maura or any type of criminal activity? What history does the owner of this vehicle have since that day in 2004?

Actually the call was at 19:43 Rhonda Marsh 19:48) and Smith did not arrive til 19:46 so it is not possible for Smith to know a (Driver) female was missing til he arrived at the scene.

therefore When 911 called back the Atwoods and She said "NO idea where the female is" She only knew what butch had told Her.

Just does not make sense, never has never will.

OK, I will def take a closer look, what you're saying makes sense of the comment but what still doesn't make sense is that comment being said at 7:43, that's before smith even arrived on the scene, how is tht possible?

Does tang have the 7:43 time wrong? was it later than that that? I remember something about the haover dispatch calling them back and that woulld have to be later.
She crashed about 7:25, FW called close to when she crashed but she must have waited to see if the driver ccould drive away before calling LE.
So she's watching for a few minutes and then along comes SBD at what, like 7:32 or something like that? He's there for a few mins max and then heads home at which point he has trouble getting through to 911 because the lines are busy. I find it odd that the lines to 911 were too busy to get through yet there's no activity in the log before FW's call, but that's another story all together.
I would say the earliest he could've even been home and trying to call 911 would bellike 7:38, maybe even 7:40. So it makes perfect sense that his first call to the hanover dispatch where he got through was7:43, but it makes no sense that he would have no idea where the female is aat that point.
So is tang wrong about that time?

Thank you for the caution, I have said the truths long ago, and need not repeat any of it, the truth made no difference in the search for Maura...not here for sure, I just always hope something new comes up.

Hi Anne. Nothing much new that I've seen, except for a recent interesting post on the MMM Facebook page from a retired NH trooper who participated in the search for Maura.

Sometthing I've always wondered is why couldn't the SBD radio police right from his bus? He was driviing a school bus, you think that if he got in an accident with those kids he was driving home from skiing he would've had to get out of the bus, leave the kids there and go walk to find a phone to call the cops with?

When I was in 5th grade my SBD backed up too far and slid over an enbankment. Nobody got hurt but the bus was stuck and it was kind of a big deal. Well all the sbd did was get on the radio and call for the cops to come. She didn't have to find a phone to use, she was able to call right from the bus using the radio that is on every SB i've ever been on.

So why didn't SBD use the radio on his bus to make the call? Is there some sort of rule that he can only use it for a buss emergency? Did he not want to calll instantly for some odd reason?

Just something I've alwys wondered;; I figure that if a bus driver could call for help right from the bus in 1989, i think it was, then one can probably call from the bus in 04. And if you think about it they would just have to be able to make calls like that from the radio on their bus, for safety. There's no way in hell that if a bus driver ccrashes they can't call for help right there on the spot, that's a safety thing.

So why didn't the SBD just make the call from th radio on his bus?
