You can get the account back but not the emails that were on there.. It coulda been done a few years ago & if you really want it, you have to hack not only the email but the server that host it.. Not the smartest thing to do concerning a missing woman!! Too much risk, no reward.. 99.9999% chance nothing is there.. What I was thinking was whether LE had considered she might have online email accounts, and if they could find them, could they be accessed. But LE could probably go thru the servers with a warrant. And first they'd have to know she actually had such accounts. If she didn't leave any information about having an online account, would anyone really know?

Jenkins wrote: <quoted text> There's been several artticles yea, but considering the size of the investigation the NHSP conducted and the fact that a young innocent girl was likely abducted from the area, I would think there would've been a lot more media coverage. Jenkins when you say things without proof it means nothing, and sometimes if someone is skilled enough -they can create bigger problems in your argument. For example when you say "innocent" there is no proof as to what happened that day to declare her innocent. So if you say "innocent" which you can't prove then someone else can take the inverse variation and say "guilty" . Both arguments are acceptable at this time because of the little evidence that is presented.

This is an excellent post. Unfortunately, it contains logic. Bob is completely "innocent" of any knowledge in this particular area. Having an amazing, critical eye for investigative journalism, and furthermore, the confidence to offer us a critique in this area, one wonders if Mr. Jenkins should consider a new editor for his articles. It's probably just me, but, Gosh, it's hilarious to read amateur journalism about professional journalism, unedited and un proofed!

I'm curious to know whether anyone who posts to this forum would refer to a 21-year old male as a "young boy," implying as it does that he was about 9 years old. I doubt it. Maura Murray was a full-grown adult 21-year old woman--young woman if you life--but most certainly not a "young girl." What an insult--demeaning, sexist, trivializing, patronizing. Cut it out. They do the same thing on the Renner blog and it's just as obnoxious there.

Flame me if you must, but, I just got back from my oldest boy's last basketball game of the season. I'm proud to say that we are going into the play offs undefeated! ; )

Jenkins wrote: <quoted text> Hey Wowzy- can you provie a link to the actual article about Maura in the NCN this week? I'm sure it's just me but I couldn't find it in the current online edition. Saw a nice article about the white mt's getting an america the beautiful quarter, and several other articles about some other crap but couldn't find an article about MM. Is it really small or did I just completly miss it? tthanks I obviously can't speak for Shack but she makes a good point about the lack of local media coverage on this case. There's been several artticles yea, but considering the size of the investigation the NHSP conducted and the fact that a young innocent girl was likely abducted from the area, I would think there would've been a lot more media coverage. I'm pretty sure the local articles on the subject can be counted on 2 hands, that's pretty weak considering we got a missing girl on our hands. Are there no real journalists in NH? No investigative journalists? What's up with that? I would think there would've been a journalist that would'vee been all over this case the way Renner was 8 years later, but I guess not. There's a serious problem with journalism today, seems like the day's of ttrue investigative journalism is dead, people that would really dig into a story and bring new facts to light. I always felt that was what this case needed, and while eventually we got Renner he was just too little too late. In NH I feel that the journalists were scared to dig into this case for real, they're scared to piss off LE. The fact of the matter is that most of their stories come from LE, they rely on LE to spoon-feed them info so they can write their stories. I fell they're afraid to really dig into anything and make the police look bad bc then they won't get any good quotes for their next story,, or they won't be fed stories first, or whatever. In realiaty it's not just NH, it's the whole country, naional media and local alike. Nowadays they just write what they're told by LE, or the Gov't or whatever, this is why all the news stories on almost all topics are pretty much the same thing. Nobody is digging, investigating anything anymore. Sad to say the days of investigative journalism is dead from what I can tell. But Shack is right about what she says, there is a serious lack of local new articles on MM and there has been from the start, it's sad. IMO if this forum, and others like it, didn't exist then this story would've been forgotten about years ago by the media. Sad but true Jenkins wrote:***Hey Wowzy- can you provie a link to the actual article about Maura in the NCN this week? Anyone that is as intelligent as you seem to think you are should be able to find it. It's a good size article. And not long ago I posted a list of papers for Shack that had articles and missing posters of Maura through the years. Just because you don't get all the papers doesn't mean there hasn't been anything mentioned in them.As I said in an earlier post to someone else if you would like to run a front page article each week I'm sure the papers will be more than happy to help you.

I get the impression Maura was having some issues growing up and breaking free from parental (paternal) control. I certainly agree she was an adult and I wonder why her family seemingly knew all about her every item of clothing, underwear, birth control method, menstrula cycle &c.

Jenkins, hope you found Bryan Flagg's "Just my opinion - nobody asked" in the North Country News. He has always been sensitive and attentive to the Murray family and their sorrow. Since this is the 9th year I tried to find another newspaper article...nothing yet.

"...an ancient, recurring theme in mythology old and new. In the great religious traditions, the symbolic and sometimes literal deaths and rebirths of the central teachers, saints and messiahs signaled the end of a kind of ignorance and the beginning of knowledge and illumination.
