Yes it gives us all a little chill when we drive past the spot, has since the first time I went by it, it did the other day when I went by it just to compare what I have been reading to what I remember. I do not have reason to travel that way much. I feel sorry for those looking for answers, it is a sad situation.
OPINION: I feel that those closest to her knew and know more than they have said. I also believe she is alive and there is a reason she has not contacted her family and some of them know the reason. Just my opinion, but I am entitled to it. Good luck to you in your search.

You know, you can create a fake name on Facebook just as easily as you can here on Topix. You don't ever have to post - you can just read.
I didn't say you had no right to post here or ask questions, go right ahead. I just find it strange that I, not a relative of Maura's, check here and Renner's blog and Websleuths and old forums and the various pages on Facebook for information about her, and you don't.
