Seems like Fred had no interest in keeping her stuff if Tim had it in St. Albans. Why would he take it all the way to northern Vermont when there was family much closer in Mass. T and K lived in Hanover MA and thats where Mauras belongings went.

Go back and reread my postings. Nowhere have I ever claimed to know everything about Maura. I have stated that Iam a distant relative and have met and been at family functions in the past with Maura. I have also stated that Amherst is unknown to me. So you are incorrect. I became actively involved in the search for Maura on 3/16/04. So if I post something concerning this I know what Iam talking about because I was there. Its your choice as to whether or not you want to believe me.

whatif ~ i'm interested in more of your input as you go along, and / or an additional overview of your feelings / opinions / ideas, so far. that is some due diligence to read through this discussion...seriously.
i'm pretty much stuck at
1) alive 2) succumbed to the elements; woods 3) an abductor known to her; not stranger abduction
and, always, the Vasi angle.
Happy Easter, everyone!

Its your choice as to whether or not you want to believe me. I wasnīt specifically referring to you, even if I jumped off of your post. I was talking about people that over the years have claimed to be "close to the case", "family" and "insiders" on topix and elsewhere, and that claimed to know more or less everything about Maura and the Murray family. I donīt doubt that you care or that you were involved in the searches early on. But since even you didnīt personally know Maura, all you have to rely on is really what those who were close to her care to tell you. All you really have is second hand information, which may or may not be selective.

But honestly you know my postings have been concerning my search for Maura as well as personally talking to others. I have been flat out honest. Its the choice of others as to whether or not they want to believe me. Show me a posting as to where I claimed I knew everything about Maura. You cant because it never happened.

This Saco, Maine thing. Like someone posted to Rennerīs blog, isnīt it kind of strange an identity theft, if thatīs what it was, happened to occur a 3 h drive down rt 112, 8 months after her disappearance?

Its the choice of others as to whether or not they want to believe me. Show me a posting as to where I claimed I knew everything about Maura. You cant because it never happened. it's hard not to personalize a reply, as i sometimes do. cultural differences and the size of family groups may define ways in which they connect, celebrate, and maintain a level of contact between generations and across the layers of relatedness. those with Irish, Greek and Italian heritage sometimes, but not always, can expect traditionally large gatherings steeped in celebrations with food, drink and dance. i happen to come from a smaller family constellation where we define "family" as more immediate than extended. so my comments are colored by that level of anticipated intimacy. over time, i've asked, and tried to establish who, exactly, represents "family" here....on behalf of Maura. the answer is, you. but knowing you are "distantly" related suggests to me that you may not be privy to information and the privilege to speak on behalf of "family". in the days of (The) Firecat, i often stated she seemed to speak on behalf of MM's "family", to which i objected. i guess i'd be very particular about who represents "family" and how it is defined. it's more my problem than yours!!:)

Happy Easter, everyone! "What if" made a statement yesterday about a hotel inner lock. If you had $4000 cash on hand to look for a car wouldn't you use that inner lock. We alll know for 9 years how deep of a sleeper FM could be.
