No need to get any decoys Roz. Just take a ride in the summer time on 112, 116 and all the other roads including the dirt ones and you'll see all kinds of young women and men riding bikes.
Gasp! I even talked to a lone women last year at a secluded pond who was taking a rest after biking up a mountain miles from the nearest house.
Keep your eyes open if you're driving because they really are a PIA to cars and trucks on these hilly and curvy roads.
It's so obvious that you've never been here Roz and yet you condemn the area. You know so little yet pretend to know everything.
I love Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. Never cared much for MA an NJ..... especially NJ. Have been to VT, NH and Maine several times. Long stays in Maine. The mountains......I love the mountains. In my opinion, they should not be turned into the cemeteries of America.

I just kept the important part of what you wrote.
Good for you Scooby Doodles! Don't want too much sloppin' round in the old noodle. I notice on this forum some discussion regarding what appears to be differentiation between PIs and "real" PIs. Other than licensing, what makes one different from the other? They're all real....correct? Some may have licensing and possibly more experience, but it would seem they're all real people (as opposed to unreal?)... Maybe they were making reference to someone attempting to impersonate a PI? Apply all this to "psychics..." Wonder if there is licensing for psychics? Maybe there should be...some of them are very good...produce positive results. Even without licensing. Can you imagine that? Maybe the licensing does not the person, the professional make... Who knows. Keep on Doodlin!

Wowzer and Bill ~ something is very peculiar about this entire conversation about Maura Murray's disappearance.
either this is a social phenomenon with the subject matter taking wings and attracting all kinds of unusual people...psychics and such; and/or Maura's family encourages the name-and-blame game out of desperation, or to cover for their or her responsibility for this occurrence.
i am puzzled that, at some point, a family member (with their admitted presence on these forums), would not step in to speak directly to current facts and updates, and encourage a rational conversation.
that said, it's almost too late...the circus has been in town for so long.
if her family believes what Rozzie presents, and if she is related to Maura, however distantly, and is being allowed to represent the Murray family here, then we know the endeavor is frustrating, if not useless.
in particular, you, Wowzer, have actually walked the area for years in search of evidence of Maura's presence; and Bill, you have eagerly shared your knowledge and expertise about search and rescue...and yet, this bat-shit-crazy conversation continues.
i trust a handful of us follow to eventually learn of a new, legitimate clue to unlock the mystery and hope, for the sake of her family, that it comes sooner than later.

I know what you mean. Like me comparing Waterman to Maura when it should be obvious that the likeness was closer to Chris F.
And your correct that NH may be even more beautiful in the winter. My wife and I really hated to leave.
Bill
It's encouraging that the two of you together have been able to determine that Maura may have had more in common with Chris in several domains. Most likely you both were focusing on gender, believing that two out of the three shared the most in common based soley on their male gender. Bill, the next time you visit this area....it might be best to leave the driving to your wife?

It has been getting more and more evident that there are some that haven't really done any homework. I loose more and more interest in this case if for no other reason that the monotony is getting to me. A FAQ could just as easily take care of this except that its likely no one would read it. And bat-shit-crazy is a pretty good description. Personally I don't care if the family ever shows up here, unless they have some new information. It does seem that their lack of interest is telling though. It does seem odd that several of us have been here for years, yet the family can't show up even once to answer some questions. Considering the incredible success that the P.I.s and others in the inner circle have had with this case you would think they might reach out to others but some of the locals they had contact with during the searches might not have exactly inspired confidence, and I am not talking about the search teams and others. Lets not forget that Fred and some of his cohorts probably did a lifetimes worth of damage in some of their actions. Likely not to be forgotten easily. He and some of the others associated with him might not be received warmly, even online.

Right from the start you have stated things about the abducter/serial killer/boogy man that makes one's mind ponder.
You've pretty much gave a description of what he looks like, how he thinks and other personal information that makes one wonder how you could know these things as you have stated them as facts and not theories.
Since it's impossible to know for sure where you really live, who you really are and if you are a man or a women I think that with all of the facts that you've stated in these forums and now the fact that you've traveled thru ME,VT and NH IMO I think the LE should investigate YOU as you seem to be the only one with a wealth of knowledge concerning this person.
If nothing else I'm sure they would appreciate your description of the perpetrater and your other details.
Should be a slam dunk and Roz will have solved the case.
Call now! You may just be that one phone call that the police have been hoping for.

I don't remember anyone asking you to live there. Thank goodness!
But why is the A frame so scary? According to shack wasn't it just menstrual blood found in a closet that was used as a possible hamper? Nothing scary about that .

Fred appeared to have chosen a course of action early on, and didn't seem to care about making repairs, even for the sake of his daughter, before creating permanent collateral damage. his advocates have compounded that damage.
"family" is a loosely held term in this online experience, with no one stepping forward, except Helena, to self-identify. i don't know who has actually driven this effort, but no one has able or willing to reign in or manage the resulting chaos. the appearance is, actually, that the accusations and damage are approved and encouraged by Maura's family.

Snowy I gave up a long time ago trying to actually be of some help as it was apparent from the start that "real" help wasn't wanted.
IMO even now rational talk is criticized while the unrational rantings are welcomed with open arms and silence. Very strange indeed.
A long time ago we were told that the family doesn't look at any of the forums as they are too hurtful. I could never understand that.
Circus indeed.

ady: No wonder you're upset! She's lovely! And a darling figure. Supple pouting breasts... firm thighs ... its a shame you two don't get along. Striker: Yes, I know, things used to be different. I remember when we first met. It was during the war.( Flashback) I was in the Air Force stationed in Drambui, off the Barbary coast. I used to hang out at the Magumba bar. It was a rough place, the seediest dive on the wharf. Populated with every reject and cut-throat from Bombay to Calcutta. Its worse than Detroit. The mood in the place was downright ugly. You wouldn't walk in there unless you knew how to use your fists. You could count on a fight breaking out almost every night.( fight between two women breaks out. Chairs are crashed ...)( Saturday Night Fever music starts to play when juke box is clobbered I didn't go there that night to fall in love I just dropped in for a couple of drinks. But, suddenly there she was. I was captivated, entranced. It hit me like a thunderbolt. I had to ask the guy next to me to pinch me to make sure I wasn't dreaming. I was afraid to approach her, but that night fate was on my side.( The man Elaine is dancing with gets a knife in his back. He tries to ascertain help from Elaine by pointing with both hands at his back, but Elaine thinks that this is a new dance move and mimics him. He collapses and dies. Striker begins to dance disco style with Elaine, soon a crowd gathers to watch. Both Ted and Elaine dance in humanly impossible ways. The crowd cheers. Next the bar is empty, and its the end of the night. Ted and Elaine are still there with the 2 fighting women.( end flashback ) We laughed, we talked, we danced I never wanted it to end. I guess I still don't. But, enough about me I hope this hasn't been boring fo

u just follow all the way back. Hello. Victor : Any word on that storm lifting over Salt Lake Clarence? Oever : No not likely, Victor. I just reviewed the area report for 1600 hours through 2400. Victor : Uh, huh ... Oever : There's a front stalled over the Dakotas, backed all the way to Utah. Victor : Yeah, well, if she decides to push over to the great lakes, it could get plenty slippery. Oever : Uh, huh. Victor : What about the southern route, around Tulsa? Oever : I double checked the terminal forecast and winds aloft and I had cloudy ceilings all the way. Victor : Where do they top out? Oever : Well ... there's some light scattered cover to 20,000 icing around 15... Worker3 : Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..(falli ng off ladder from washing plane's windows) Victor : Boy looks like the original plan ought to be the best bet. Oever : Denver it is. Murdock : Sorry Clarence. Latest weather report shows everything is sopped in from Salt Lake to Lincoln. Oever : Oh, Hi Roger! Glad to have you aboard! Victor, this is Roger Murdock, Victor Basta. Victor : How do you do Roger? Murdock : Nice to meet you! Oever : Roger, I was telling Victor that I reviewed the area report for 1600 hours through 2400 there'sa front stalled over the Dakotas... Ticketer: There you go, thank you. Striker : Can you tell me if Elaine Dickenson is on this flight? Ticketer: Well, the whole flight crew has boarded. Let me see. Oh yes, she is on board. Striker : I'd like one ticket to Chicago. No baggage.( Guy still waits in Taxi for Striker) Ticketer: Smoking or non-smoking. Striker : Smoking, please. Ticketer:( Hands Ted a ticket which is literally
