FRom the March 31 Concord Monitor article by Jeremy Blackman:

"Late on Tuesday, the Haverhill Police Department declared Maura missing, and Fred, who had been working all day, got a phone call from one of his other daughters, Kathleen, explaining what had happened. He said he was sitting in a parking garage when he heard the words."

Ok. So FM had just left work on Tuesday around 5 pm when he got the call. He started at 8 am if he had an 8 h day plus 1 h lunch break. And he worked Monday night until 11 pm, according to what we´ve been told. A very busy man.

I don't know which is worse, Ayottes hero worship of McKay or Shaheens coddling of Floyd.

I would recall both senators for this snafu.

Negligence is an understatement.

If these senators were men, they'd be disbarred.

The more secrets they're the more people will claim to know them.

Is the goal to solve MM's disappearance, or is the goal to have the disappearance solved as long as it fits the parameters of what people in the know have set forth?

It is convenient that most of the family do not even recognize all the negatives in Maura's life with the reasoning that "it doesn't matter" They have hindered the examination of her disappearance by their own desire to keep those things out of the press and the investigation. The sad fact is that the majority of violent crime is not random and for women, 75% is committed by someone they know. There are fair odds that someone close to Maura is responsible, but they refuse to discuss it.
