I said that I felt she was emotionally or emntally distressed, based on her actions prior to the accident and subsequent to the accident. Anyone else looking from the outside in would come to the same conclusion. I base my theories on the fact that her actions were not reasonable and showed poor decision making and therefore I conclude that her actions after the crash need to be considered in light of her apparent state of mind. When did I say she was without brains to think on her own? As far as the word girl, pffff whatever. I don't worry as much about shit like that as you do, I try to focus on the substance of the case and let people like you worry about nitpicking.

She could easily have gotten down 112 to 116, she had plenty of time. Have no Fear.....FrmLE is here. You must have been the smartest cop NH ever had. Sorry for their loss.

Correct, You didn't use the words she doesn't have brains but you certainly did call attention her youth and in experience. Frmlee quote: "Maura's age and lack of real world savvy. Let's face it, she may have been a smart girl but she couldn't make it at West Point, she couldn't even buy her own Pizzas at UMass, nor could she figure out how to scam a Pizza from someone else without getting busted." Your basis of saying she didn't run away to start a new life is because of her lack of savvy? really? When does one become savvy? Also. Who is to say that Maura didn't have a "savvy" guy that she met up with to pull it off? Possible right?

She could easily have gotten down 112 to 116, she had plenty of time. Is your theory hypothermia or suicide? I can see how Maura might have been feeling desperate or even suicidal in that moment. But what doesn't make sense to me is running 5+ miles down the road with bottles of alcohol in a backpack before entering woods to drink herself to death. And no one witnesses this except the CW. I work with people who do a lot of stupid stuff for various reasons (mental illness, emotional problems, drugs etc). So while I do not have LE experience I at least understand the mindset of people whose behavior is unpredictable. But it still seems more likely to me that she willingly accepted a ride to flee the scene. Is your theory based on the credibility of the CW sighting? I mean, if he never reported seeing her, would this still be your theory? Just curious.

whoa- But she couldn't make it at West Point???? what?? Was it because of Savvy /grades or CC theft? I really don't get that statement and what you are saying there. I don't think she was kicked out for grades right? i thought it was a violation of the code of conduct.

I would like to see you do a drive from the accident to swiftwater circle to valley rd and go by the a frame etc... I made the trip myself on my bike but others might find it helpful to see how close it really is and what the A frame looks like today etc.. What do you think ? Next opportunity I have I will give it a shot.
