West point has had over two centuries to figure out how to get rid of people not deserving of being army officers. Their system isn't perfect, but it works exceptionally well.

I do live in Franconia....I was being sarcastic because Renner and Green should have this solved in no time.

I was just @ the airport on Sat. w/ My cousin. This was the 1st weekend open. Saw a few gliders getting towed up for a beautiful day of soaring.

From Green's latest blog post referring to RF: "Rick likely is not a suspect. Police searched the trailer he was living in after he sold it and nothing happened thereafter."

So Green is sucking up Renner's party line on RF apparently. He also appears to have not read the info from BillNH's friend on the MMM FB page about the searches of RF's property after she bought it. But oh, how I shall follow his every self-important word because he and Renner are sooooo on the verge of solving this case.

I also think it's funny that he is so important now that he is using his real name on Topix instead of "Mar Shill," the name he has used to bully Beagle.

Oh, and by the way, on the timeline, item 8, the 12:07 a.m. call on February 5th, was not to New York City, but to New City, New York, and has been identified as belonging to Billy Rausch.

Also, he might want to rethink his time estimates on MM's running from the scene, especially his theory on Bradley Hill Road. Route 112 is mostly all the same elevation, whereas Bradley Hill Road continously gains and loses elevation and has some long fairly steep legs of elevation gain which should factor greatly into the time it may have taken her to cover the distance to where RF may have seen somebody.

You know, Green is just another armchair sleuth, just like so many of us here on Topix and Websleuths, and as far as I am concerned, he has far less knowledge of the case than most of us posting here. He has less than I do, that's for certain. I think I shall make myself a fancy logo like he has, so that I can telegraph my self-importance more easily. Instead of his stick figure with a lightbulb over my head, I shall have a female stick figure with bosoms and voluptuous hips, smoking a pipe and driving the Batmobile.

Green´s timeline is seriously flawed.
Something is up with the timeline though, hence JKM´s refusal to answer questions pertaining to it.

The timeline is a working document. The whole reason it was posted was to slowly chip away at it until we have a definitive and accurate version (or at least the closest we can get) of the timeline of Maura's last few days. The purpose of the blog, again, is to get closer to the main facts of the case and to generate new info. It's an evolving thing.

That's what makes the blog different than a book.

My point is, if you have knowledge or sources that would make the timeline more accurate, we'd like to have it. We should be working together.

My question is do they consider him a suspect, or POI, just because he made up this story or is there other things that point to him being involved that we don't know about. In your analysis you say that he isn't a suspect bc they didn't find anything in his trailer. IMO that doesn't really mean anything as far as him being a POI, they obviously searched his trailer BECAUSE they think he might have been involved. They didn't search the SBD's house after he moved, they have never wanted to search the Westman's home, but they wanted to search his trailer really bad. They were actually paying attention to when he sold the trailer so they could search it once it moved, they don't do that just for the hell of if; they're not going to waste their time and resources if they don't think theres any possibility of finding anything. They sent out the mobil crime lab and were specifically looking for forensic evidence, that is very teling, that means they believed there is a possibility they were going to find evidence of a crime there, that means they believe he is a potential suspect. I highly doubt that they eliminated him just because they didn't find anything in his house, that's not how it works. They had to have had a reason to want to search his house and it probably was a good reason, just because they didn't find anything on the search doesn't mean that reason is no good anymore, that just means they didn't find anything.
Something else is the fact that this search was not publicized in any way by the NHSP, the only reason we know about it is bc of people who live there talking about it, so they did not do it so they could say that they were doing something, quite the contrart actually.
And not only did they do a forensic search of his trailer after he sold it, they've also apparently searched his property twice in the last few years, according to the people he sold his home to.
So that means that they definitely did NOT eliminate him as a suspect because the search of his trailer didn't turn up anything. Once he sold his property they searched that as well, twice actually, and that happened AFTER the trailer search, well after.

This all means that clearly the NHSP considered him a suspect and probably still do. They don't do 3 searches of someone's property if they've been eliminated as a suspect, they just don't.

I don't wanna break your balls, you seem like a good guy and you put a lot o effort into that timeline but I think your analysis totally missed the important parts of the CW's potential connection to this case. Mainly because you started by saying you don't believe he's a suspect when clearly he is and then you focused on the feasibility of her running that far. Obviously she COULD have made it there, I don't think that was ever really a question, the real questions is if she DID and moreso is the CW lying and if he is then WHY? Really the analysis should be whether he made it up, not whether she could've ran 5 miles, I think you missed the ball on that post, but that's JMO. Don't take it the wrong way, this is meant to be a contructive critisism.

Hannah- I think that's a good point you made about JKM's refusal to answer questions pertaining to the night MM went missing.
Why all the secrecy? If all he did was drive around for a few minutes looking for her then nothing he says can possibly jeopardize the investigation in any way, that's impossible. So why NOT answer questions about it?

Personally I think it's an indication that he doesn't want to lie about that night and rather than lie he's chosen to remain quiet, which is probably a good idea. The thing is that we know what everybody else who was there that night did, except JKM. Why is he the only guy that refuses to answer any q's and the NHSP has provided NO info as to what he was doing that night? It seems like There must be something he saw or didn't see, did or didn't do that makes him not want to answer q's.

Who knows, it may be something as simple as he feels stupid for not driving east a few minutes and doesn't want to look like a dumbass, maybe all he diid was drive west down 112, the same way he just came from and thinks that he'll look lazy &/or stupid if that's what he says. It doesn't necessarily mean that it's something major, but when he's the only guy on scene who's always refused to answer any and all q's about that night, it leaves a lot to the imagination. In reality it makes it look like he has something to hide, I think that he should or the NHSP should release a statement that says what he did or saw that night.

I always wondered if it's possible he saw her walking on 112 after the accident and she said that she was fine so he just let her go and she went missing after that, it is possible. I have no idea if that's what happened but that could be a good reason why he doesn't want to answer any questions, man he would look like a real idiot if that's what happened. Even though in reality she committed no crime, at that point Smith still hadn't even found the coke bottle with the alcohol so he would've had no cause to detain her and no reason to think he had to because she might go missing, but he would LOOK stupid. People always gotta remember that LE is VERY concerned with their image, how the public perceives them. IMO LE in general is way too concerned with appearances, but that's just the way it is I guess.

It sure does leave a lot to the imagination, which IMO makes him look worse than if he did answer and just had a stupid answer like 'I drove 5 minutes back the way I came from and just kept an eye out for her' which in reality is probably exactly what happened.
