Orko Kringer wrote: <quoted text> this is like the fifth time I am being corrected for someone else and what THEY SAID today. Good astute observation Citigirl. Now report your findings to JG he is the one who came to that conclusion. I was trying to clear up a confused poster on topix who thought Maura told her coach directly that the reason she transferred was because of a drinking violation. This same confused poster also thought James Renner made the post and not JG. Sorry but I was not correcting you. I was only pointing out that the words THEY BELIEVE is an opinion and not a fact.

John I still believe I am right about that. I had to back down from calling it an absolute fact (Got ahead of myself). But that doesn't mean I don't believe what I discovered.

"5. During the course of this investigation, Cellular Telephone records have been obtained by Law Enforcement that were used by MURRAY. A representative from Sprint Corporate Security advised this affiant that during the late afternoon hours of February 9, 2004an outgoing telephone call was made to Murray from the Londonderry, NH Sprint tower. This call had to have been made from within a 22 mile radius of the tower. The identity of this caller and telephone number has not been made as of this date." Affidavit must be wrong to say Londonderry NH and not VT.Dude read it again and it is clear that they are looking for the person that called maura and pinged her number and not maura making a call and pinging a tower.

Orko, I appreciate your research but very much disagree with you on the Londonderry Ping and Beagle /tang thing. I know 100% that Tang is not Beagle.

Here are the facts: Maura checked her cell phone for messages on Monday Feb 9, 2004 (LATE IN THE AFTERNOON JUST LIKE THE AFFADAVIT STATES) at 4:37 p.m. to be precise. That is the fact. Police obtained Maura's cell phone records for that day ---- also a fact Sprint notified police about ping activity on Maura's phone late in the afternoon that hit off a tower in Londonderry (According to affidavit Londonderry New Hampshire) Those are the facts. Now some basics (not fact, but not just guess work either) Maura had her cell phone turned off her entire trip, other than around 4:37 p.m. when she checked her phone for messages. I make that leap because if her phone had been turned on and left on, her movements from the time she left UMASS to well after she disappeared would be traceable and we would know every place she stopped, how long she stayed in one place and so forth. The fact we know none of this and it has been reported that Maura's last ever cell phone activity was her 4:37 p.m. check for voice mail means that she did not have her phone on before or after she checked her phone for messages. Maura left her campus around 3:30 p.m. and her atm transaction and liquor store receipt back this time-frame up plus witness testimony. DOing a google map directions search from UMASS Amherst campus from 3:30 p.m. to the time Maura checked for voicemail messages 4:37 p.m.(going up I-91 North, her believed route) would place you in the vincinity and in between Walpole and Charlestown Vermont. Less than 30 miles from this location is Londonderry Vermont and not Londonderry new Hampshire. Maura checking her phone for messages would mean she briefly turned it on and by her turning on her phone, her phone registers communication with any nearby cell phone tower (pinging) that pinging would show up to sprint and not be on her cell phone records. Sprint would notify law enforcement about the pinging, but could not give them the precise details of the ping until police went and got a proper search warrant. Now a days it all doesn't matter, your cell phone can be turned off and due to GPS technology it will still trace your every movements, but not so in 2004. Your phone had to be turned on which Maura's was for a brief amount of time, long enough for her to check for phone messages which registered a ping off a cell tower when she did so. And she was physically impossible able to ping off the cell tower in Londonderry New Hampshire which was well over 2 hours past her campus, knowing that she left her campus at 3:30 p.m or around there.

A receipt from said liquor store was later found in her car and backs up the timeframe

So....IF You are correct then LE knows pretty much within a few miles where She was when the 4:37 call was made to voicemail. Plus the 2:18 PM call and we have a basic timeframe. Thinking She was still in Mass when it was turned OFF.

These stops could've very easily been made while en route and not necessarily all done before she left her campus

I'm wanting to say (going off memory) that she stopped at a Fleet Atm machine (whatever that's worth) I believe in 2004 there were three fleet atm machines around Amherst, but likely elsewhere as well.
