Judged: 1 Isn't it possible that someone else did call her phone? Someone she was expecting to call her. And that caller left a voicemail with information regarding her trip north. That callers number does not show up on her (Rauch's) cell phone bill because it did not connect (on purpose). And Maura, knowing this person was calling, would then check her messages to get that voice mail, resulting in her VM number showing at 4:37 and not the callers? |

no Benton would mean Maura never went to the spot her car wrecked at and I am certain that she was the one that was at the scene of her own accident. |
which ATM did she stop at? |

Judged: 2 2 1 I just used Benton as a reference point. Where Mauras car was found is just a little over a mile from Benton. Same time frame involved. |

Judged: 1 Its' possible for sure. But it would be an awfully strange coincidence that Maura's last known cell phone activity also took place late in the afternoon and was also in the range of Londonderry, just not Londonderry New Hampshire but rather Londonderry Vermont. This is a missing person's case. And it would be unheard of if police knew Maura's locations not to share that with the public and especially the family. The public would be a great source for police if they knew Maura stopped somewhere for instance for food, gas etc.. The fact no one knows Maura's exact stops that night or her route of travel all but proves she didn't have her phone on. If her phone was on, she was trackable. Just sitting in her front seat (not receiving or making phone calls) and the phone is pinging away because it is on. Maura had her phone turned off. All of a sudden she turned it on briefly to check for messages (my assumption would be the voice mail message she left billy at 2:18 p.m., she was likely wanting to see if he ever tried to get back to her. Once she had to turn on her phone, it pinged. The cell phone records won't show that but her cell phone company will see the pinging activity and would contact police about that. But Police wouldn't get anything out of the phone company until they filed an affidavit which is what took place. |

Your assumption is that the ping is Maura calling her VM? I am suggesting that the ping for VM is obvious based on her phone records and the ping is truly another caller. No idea about what the sbject of the call may have been but I do believe it is a number other than her VM check. |

What time did the Affidavit say the time was.?

ORKO KRINGER "Maura left her campus around 3:30 p.m. and her atm transaction and liquor store receipt back this time-frame up plus witness testimony" We were told a witness had seen her in Amherst around 4pm.Did you personally see the reciept?

Judged: 1 Do u understand what I am saying though. Police had her cell phone records, they didn't need sprint to tell them about Maura checking her phone messages. However, Maura's phone pinging (because she checked for messages) would be something that does not show up on the cell phone records and sprint would be only privy too. Sprint can not legally tell police what the ping they have is because of privacy laws. Police had to make out an affidavit to get the ping info. All in all I am saying that Maura checking her phone for messages left both a cell phone record trail and a separate cell phone ping trail. |

Judged: 1 1 Besides it says Londonderry NH on the Affidavit. |
Since: Mar 13 645 |
Judged: 1 1 1 And what I am suggesting is that there was no reason to get an affidavit for a ping from checking her VM. I am proposing that they needed an affidavit to get the number of the Londonderry ping. They may be one in the same but I would think that if there was one ping and they can verify that she checked her VM via call records then there would be no need for the affidavit unless there was another separate ping that was not obtainable without the affidavit. You are making an assumption that Landry?( i think) did not understand how the pings work and as a NHSP investigator I would assume he did know exactly how they worked or would find out before getting a court to release the number. |
