JWB wrote: <quoted text> Tell us how you really feel? And you don't even read his posts and feel that way. I stopped reading his crap and some others months ago. You going to tell me he has all of a sudden become smarter and I should start reading his posts again? And except for you addressing me directly, and only then sometimes, I don't often read your posts either. Sometimes I do only because I don't have to hack my way through them like I did with jenkins posts. They are often very light reading. And I think I was pretty succinct in how I feel. Anyone else have questions or is it just you. Seems like it is just you. Bill

Hey scooter. You should really do a word count to see who is writing a book. It's really sad when people can't tell the difference between truth and anger. Gets their emotions all jumbled and they can't process content anymore. Gets their thinking all muddled. I am relaying truth. If you could hear all the chuckling on this side of the computer you would probably realize it entertainment, not anger. Bill

Det Columbo wrote: Jenks posts are like a work of art...... John Kind of like Jackson Pollack paintings. You know, colored diarrhea on a sheet. You might like it, doesn't mean it's useful. I actually remember they had an elephant who was making better paintings. At least the elephants paintings conveyed an idea. Unlike jenkins posts. http://www.youtube.com/watch... Bill

amy researches wrote: <quoted text> I understand what you and Maruchan are saying. But I would rather read these posts that are based on interviews with people who knew Maura, even if they weren't Maura's best friends or offer a lot of new facts, than read posts trying to analyze speculation and rumors about affairs etc. I enjoyed this post and the interview with Maura's coach. I think since Renner is writing a book that it's good to get a variety of perspectives from people who knew Maura in various parts of her life. It would be interesting to see some interviews from people who knew her at West Point, too. This would maybe paint a more well-rounded picture of who Maura was, especially since Maura's closest friends and family won't talk to Renner. Just my opinion. pretty much the REAL Maura is still unknown. the stereotypical assignment as "All American Girl" does not personalize, celebrate or give permanence to her unique profile / bio. the campaign was successful in washing away the features of her existence which stopped at the time of her disappearance. i don't recall a heartfelt, compelling, gripping appeal to the public, just a guarded and fiercely protected "image". contrasts and bits and pieces of her persona are scattered over several forums, but i still don't know her.

I snipped the above for the most poignant portion (in my opinion, of course). You put it beautifully, Snowy.'Bits and pieces of her persona'- exactly right. Hope your summer is starting off...swimmingly.(I'm slap-happy today, forgive me.) Mindy

Orko Kringer "Her car sat in a parking lot off a main highway for over a year before police took custody of it." Your statement is incorrect.

Mindy do celebrate Friday! giggle and grin. finally, we're getting some rain! 94 degrees one weekend and 54 degrees the next. and thanks for catching my sentiment about Maura. i'm sure she never meant to become the object of so much negative attention.

citigirl wrote: Orko Kringer "Her car sat in a parking lot off a main highway for over a year before police took custody of it." Your statement is incorrect. Police took custody of her car in June of 2005. her wreck was in Feb of 2004. Last time I checked that was over a year.

Some more tidbits while citigirl has brought up Maura's car. Family (wink wink) believes that the mysterious bottle police found at the site of the accident (under her car which family disputes) was actually a bottle of cherry mountain dew (neatly explains the reddish/pink stuff found in the snow. Also family reports that besides the "soda" bottle, there waa a stick of licorice found in the bottle used as a straw.(Maura was known to do this).

I agree if that is what you are getting at.
