I could not agree with you more on this Amy, although it is not about our entertainment value as some look at it, I think the JG interview has merit. I was able to pick a few things out such as Maura being a private person and put that in the basket. I think more info comes out of this type of interview than a general newspaper article that rehashes and sometimes carries on mis truths without follow through.

It is so very easy to jump on someone for their efforts and contribution than it is to go do the work yourself.

You may not agree with everything that JG or JR says and I don't either but the way I look at is that they are looking for the same outcome as most of us are and that is a resolution to this case.

Try helping and pooling your info and stop being so negative. I do get where some are coming from but your points can be more constructively communicated.

After further review, you are correct.

Maribeth's series of articles on Maura Murray lists it has happening a few weeks after June 8, 2005. But it was acutally June 8, 2004 that maribeth should've stated in her article.

Either way, it doesn't change the point. If it was a murder/foul play investigation, the car (one piece of true physical evidence) would've been secured right away and not left in a parking lot for four months.

I read somewhere that the only reason they took possession was because Lavoie did not want to keep it on his property any longer. NHSP then offered it to Fred and he told them to "keep it". I don't know if this is true or not since I cannot remember where I read this. Can someone with more knowlwdge of this confirm or deny? Beyond that we all know it sat unsecured behind the Twin Mountain barracks for years. May still be there now.

Fred wanted Maura's car crushed.

LE gave the car back to Fred Murray. He did not want it.

Later on down the road the Saturn was taken by NHSP and brought to Troop-F in Twin Mtn.

Still sitting there to this day.

When Fred Murray went to Lavoie's to look @ the Saturn.....He was able to start the car......!

So maybe Maura was trying to leave the scene in the Saturn.....just a thought.

And where did said keys to start said car come from? Did the said driver of the said Saturn leave the said keys with the said Saturn so said Fred would have said keys to start said Saturn?

According to family sources, there was a spare key that was tucked away somewhere on the outside of the car or under the hood.

This was done because Maura had locked herself out of her car during less than a month before she went missing. Fred and Billy both knew about this spare key again according to family sources and they were the ones to discover it when they went to see about the Saturn.

If the Saturn hit a person, it would make sense to want the car destroyed.
