Unless it was all an elaborate setup to disappear/run away, which I doubt, or she planned to kill herself, which I also doubt, it seems to me that Maura might have been meeting someone in NH, since she supposedly only had less than $300. Where would she stay on so little money plus buy food etc by herself?

I think it's not uncommon for LE to hold things back to weed out nutters who come forward confessing to things they never did--or at least that's one reason. And what occurs to me is that what that video shows (possibly) is what Maura was wearing that night.
