That's a good thought. If LE was willing to release "some", there might be a more substantial and effective push to release more. Crack in the dike so to speak.

Exactly. I think if everyone was allowed to see the videos then LE would have no measuring stick to see what was a real sighting or a made up sighting.

Hi all, I have never understood why L.E. has never shown any A.T.M. video or even named the bank where someone may have been and seen something connected to Maura leaving Amherst.I assume someone used the A.T.M. before and after Maura.Why would L.E. not tell anyone searching for her what she was wearing.The flip side of this is the family does not know which bank she used...give me a break.Smiths parents lived on Bunga road but he did not know the area?More and more I think Maura bailed on her prior life and I really hope she did.I do not think if anyone has found her, including Mr.Renner we would be told. take care philip.

Fleet Bank were the owners of the ATM that Maura used.(I researched a while back and believe there were three Fleet ATM machines in Amherst in 2004, but that is not 100 percent fact).

I believe Fleet is now owned by Bank of America.

Orko.i appreciate your comment but still, a young lady goes missing and her prior life has been a total secret with no official report from L.E.about which A.TM. she used.I have spoken with a few people in L.E. and they are as stumped as me as to why Mauras' or any other missing persons life is such a secret.I would like to know if Kate J.B.,Liz D.W. Erin L. or anybody in Hanson visited Maura when she was 'home'.i am guessing not.take care philip

I hear you. however, like others on here, I tend to believe (IMO) that once police sealed info off from both the public and family that they are forced to sticking to their guns (even if we are just talking about a harmless atm transaction video). If they go ahead and release that video of the atm transaction, then whats to say they shouldn't release other info that is not pertinent to interfering with their investigation and who gets to decide whether something is valuable info or just worthless info?

No I don't have that info anymore.

Right now bank of America lists seven atms in Amherst. Who's to say which ones were fleet Bank back in 2004 and which ones were Bank of America back then.

My best guess would be that she used the atm at 1 Campus Center way in Amherst.

There was a walk up Fleet ATM in the parking lot of the liquor store in Feb 2004.

That would make sense. But how do you know it was a fleet atm?

LE would have access to who made ATM transactions before and after Maura and could have inquired with these individuals as to what they may have seen and that still allows them to hold the cars as to specifics of the video.
