I must say that at least JG provided some entertainment on Renner's blog. JG was providing 20 - 30% of the comments and you could count on at least one a day featuring JG trying to spank a wayward poster. If JG pulls the frequent posters who want to feel important to his invitation only format, it is likely to leave Renner's blog nearly barren. I wonder if Renner is expecting that. Seems like it will ultimately affect his bottom line when the book comes out.

On the other hand. Allowing JG to continue down the path he was taking likely would have affected the bottom line even more. Deleting all of the posts least flattering to JG was a smart move.

i believe Renner and his blog will stand on its own merits. there have been dry spells for many weeks at a time, and it's just assumed he's busy with his work.
i've never considered him to be an attention seeker...and his blog seemed to serve as a window on how he collected info and sources.

JG became his own embedded story line and distraction.
Renner, with the exception of clashing with Beagle, doesn't seem to be in the business of insulting posters and talking to himself, so that's a very good sign! ;)

There is no way in the manner that JG addresses people and presents his arguments/counter arguments that he is a decent lawyer. I wonder if he is in good standing in a state bar. I bet he has screwed up already.
I question his intentions in visiting the crash scene, etc. It seems that there's an obsessive component to it. Does he even work?

Also, there is NO FREAKIN' WAY I would ever give JG my real email address.

Psssst, John, you really need to do some basic research on this case.

The Quality Inn that you spent so much time taking pics of the approach, the getaway, the men's club across the street (had to get that in to add fodder for the Fred the Perv angle, didn't you?), the court division ... you know, the one you have devoted your first new blog post to, the one you wasted your time visiting and constructing new theories around?

It's not the right hotel.

Fred didn't stay there.

He stayed at the Quality Inn, now the Comfort Inn, located at 237 Russell Street, Hadley MA. Russell Street is also known as Route 9. It changed from Quality Inn to Comfort Inn a few years back. Most people following this case know that.

Don't believe me? Go check Renner's blog, or other MM past forums. Take a look at the Amherst Towing bill in Renner's docs - which says Fred's car was collected from the Route 9 Quality Inn in Hadley. Hadley, not Northampton.

The Quality Inn you picked is in Northampton off of Route 5, on CONZ Street, not ONYZ Street. I mean, really, you were freaking THERE, you can't even get the name of the wrong street right?

If one of his loyal followers has no qualms about "get[ing] away with running people of interest not related to my job," and Green has no qualms about it either (he responded to the comment and said nothing about it), I would be really leery of getting involved with any of these people. You may be the next person having your records illegally run by this unethical employee who obviously should have been fired long ago and shouldn't ever be allowed to have access to confidential information again.
