He is wile enough to let the cards fall where they may concerning Green and harvest whatever will be useful to him in this situation.

JR can't win by defending or distancing himself from his poor choice. by all appearances, he's thumbs up for JG. it gives me pause to realize his judgment, possibly motivated by convenience, is off the mark. but i like his style, with the exception of throwing out names.
in fact, Green willingly slogs in the mud for James, which may serve a good purpose.

as usual, your comment is spot on. well said. there is a lot of talent 'round here...even if we don't boast of professional status.
and i like your self-deprecation, Ridiculous...you do well, considering having to overcome an abbreviated education. wink-wink ;)

Ask yourself why you think its not OK to speculate about Maura's disappearance yet its absolutely correct in your mind to profile people you dont know.....and assume that they are what some loon has projected upon them.

Hi CC. I must say that I think that John Green is a very fair minded and totally honest human being and that the posts on here from this great man have all been decent and courteous in my enormously educated opinion.

I really do believe that James, being deeply invested, both financially and personally in this " Maura Murray Missing " business, is doing what any capable manager does. He has to watch out for his bottom line. He has to play his cards very close to his chest and take whatever situation comes up and remove his own ego from the mix and think with his head not his emotions. I'm not saying that both ego and emotion haven't come into play with James in the past, but this situation is a biggie and can absolutely affect his bottom line concerning exposure and book sales. He can be mercurial like some of us commoners, but, imho, he is very crafty and able to get tight control of himself in charged situations, family court aside, as BillNH said, that's a whole different hell!
James is playing John Green like a banjo...He is fully aware of John's lunacy...Listen if you want to shake the tree that holds the swarm of honey bee's, go right ahead Johnny. while you're getting stung by the drones, I'll just grab the Queen when she falls and after they're done stinging the hell out of your sad little carcass they'll come back to the queen and make some honey!

Wow, this changes the game. I had no idea that anyone here actually hates John Green. I thought people were just responding to his posts here. Yes, I thought it was just a case of dislike. Hate...that's an emotion I've only felt a couple of times in my life and those weren't good times for any of the involved parties....John Green is just another self important looney here on the internet as far as I'm concerned. He just has this big cry baby bully persona that I take exception to, but, at the end of the day, it's just the internet.. My kids will tell you that the only thing I hate is the word hate...I know, pretzel logic, but, hey they're just kids...I think the word is constantly misused...Should Mr. Green attempt put my innocent family in the public eye because of some internet shenanigans. I would have to reassess my feelings, but, currently, it's just a strong dislike....

It really isn't hatred but disgust that someone this disturbed manages to draw in an audience and then proceeds to resort to intimidation and bullying of people he decides to target. Wait until he does it to you and then come back and tell us. There is nothing "unprovoked" here...I used to defend him just like you until...I became a very surprised target and then I REALIZED what he was all about. We are eagerly awaiting Mr. Green's next visit to the Haverhill area.

I find it bizarre that JG hangs out on Renner's blog writing epic posts and responding to comments like he's still part of the team. It's like someone who has been fired from their job but still keeps showing up at the office every day.
