Whatever John Green gets is well earned and undoubtedly deserved. His vicious rants here were totally out of control. To be libelous, statements made must be 1) untrue (Topix -1, Green -0), and must be clearly stated as fact, opinions are not actionable (Topix-2, Green-0). Looks like perhaps JG may run into trouble for libel. Wonder if the town of Haverhill should take him to court? Tourism is big business here, could do some harm if he can't prove what he claims. Just my opinion of course.

Very valid point.

John Green reminds me of those big hollow chocolate Easter bunnies I used to get in my basket as a child. They look so impressive, but when you bite into them....hollow...! My mother likes to tell the story of how when I was five I asked her to tell the Easter bunny to please just bring me a smaller bunny that was solid chocolate because the empty ones "sucked".....!

How in the world did MM having kleptomania come about? Now they are posting it as a possible affliction. Stealing a credit card and using it for personal gain, albeit very little gain, does not spell kleptomania. If she had taken it and not used it, coupled with a TRUE story about the shopping card and combined with about ten other TRUE stories of trinkets not belonging to her found in her possessions then MAYBE a klepto theory would hold water. Ten years from now, SnowyB and WTH will be steadfastly holding their ground that it's all false after the Disappeared program sets another newbie into the net and they come across JG's long defunct blog and start asking about MM's kleptomania. THERE IS NO, and I mean NO evidence whatsoever that MM was a kleptomaniac. Have some responsibility people. This is truly getting out of hand. JG is making posts about rooting out all the misinformers on Topix and in MM's family?? Start on your own blog and your own writing first, sir.

It is unreasonable, considering JG´s alleged analytical skills. The style nad language of the posts made it clear the were not written by the same person and the location showed B´s MA location whereas mine always show Sweden. The reason for the banning was not making a mistake as to whom wrote the posts. JG´s posts were very abusive and he threatened B with violence. That´s the reason for the reporting and the banning of at least two of JG´s accounts.

It was very obvious the posts B made under my name were written by a different person, diffent writing style and location showed B´s usual MA location, whereas mine always show Sweden. JG wasn´t reported and banned bc he made a mistake as to the poster´s identity, he was reported and banned because of his very abusive language and threatening people with physical violence.
Btw, why are you all of a sudden using an anonymous proxy, you always posted from the UK?
