You've been posting for what 4 maybe 6 months now? Can you point to one example of real locals bashing? Not counting the moron who said every house near the crash should be searched, he was talking about every missing person and there's always one of THOSE idiots everywhere.
So what, specifically, has been said about the locals in the last four months, or whenever you've been posting, have people been bashing the locals?
In reality most mentions of the locals on this forum is positive. People are always talking about how great the locals are actually.
Contrast that with 'the disappeared', she is generally portrayed as a drunk, a theif, a liar, as bulimic so she must be crazy too, and she slept around. You might not use those exact words but that's the general idea. Way more shit is talked about Maura then the locals.
Break out some examples, I can find many examples of Maura not being spoken about nicely & the locals being spoken about nicely too.

And bill I really hope you're not talking about before your time. People like snowy, WTH & wowzer are full of shut when they talk about the original forums & what was said back then. I was on both the MM.com and the MMM.com forums and they have completely exaggerated what was said so bad that they're basically lying. It's ridiculous. So I hope you're not just taking the word of someone on the Internet.

I recently spoke with someone I knew from the original forums who has all of it saved, both of the original forums. At some point in the next couple weeks we are going to find somehere we can post the forums, in their entirety so everyone can read them. They're going to be interesting & I am going to prove these people wrong once and for all. There were some stupid things said here & there, but NOTHING like they describe. And whenever someone said something bad there was always somebody there to say how good the locals really are. The forum was a much nicer place back then, none of these personal attacks & all this hate people exhibit nowadays. It went from one of the nicest groups of people to the meanest, rudest & just downright nastiest group of people ever anywhere online. It's really quite remarkable.

As usual. You have everything bass ackwards. You are making the accusations. You provide the proof. All the people that have been here all these years knows what happened. Those that have researched what has happened in the past, know what happened. You are the new kid (i.e. moron) on the block trying to re-write history. The burden of proof is on you. It was said that we were so back woods that we probably didn't own a computer but guess they were wrong about that. I think there may be someone (not mentioning names)that also has kept the nasty things that were said. It will be fun to compare notes. Better check with your buddy though. She may not want the proof of her meanness, complete disrespect, arrogance and bashing to be put on public display.

i can also attest to core group members stating it didn't matter what was stated or implied about the S D because he didn't read topix, anyway...therefore, how could those accusations hurt him. people of integrity - not.
