citigirl wrote: <quoted text>Snowy you are no different than the posters you complain about. Your postings have had nothing but negativity toward every posting I have put on this forum in the past several days. You dont even know me to say I or others havent even tried to put the brakes on and/or stop the victimizing, etc. This is a false statement. understandably, you speak for yourself. however, as a self-identified "family" member, whether closely or distantly related, there is much denial on your part today about the tenor of this discussion board over many years, and the dedicated group of women (and a few men) who have religiously attacked NH residents and law enforcement, individually and collectively, for not finding and/or harming MM. the facts behind such accusations may or may not support these accusations, but, to date, have not been proven here, or elsewhere. the official investigation is in the hands of authorities, and it would seem a statement at any time by any "family" member to discourage such ravaging of, presumably, innocent people and to cease such behavior would have been helpful. instead, much harm to the reputation of others has needlessly occurred in MM's name. any "family" member witnessing such "negativity", and there have been more than one self-identified "family" members following online, might have taken the opportunity to turn down the flame...or at least intervene at some level on behalf of the individual(s) being victimized; in particular, Butch Atwood. of course, it is now well after the fact, since he is deceased. why here? why now would you step forward with effusive praise for NH residents, and Butch Atwood? no answer is expected....rhetorical questions only. renner's on the case.

I did notice when things were being said against the people from NH I did my best to defend them. I thought people would listen to me because I was one who actually traveled to NH and had the opportunity to meet and talk with the people and get to know the people from NH on a regular basis. Why is it so important all of a sudden for us to believe you are the nh peoples best friend and defender? For a long time citigirl I stood alone or with just a couple of people defending the sbd, the le,the residents and the the state of nh.These people still post here today and they still believe in the kindness and goodness of the people of nh. Their minds have not wavered. Im sorry but I just don't remember all the defendind that you say you did. Was it on the forums,on the phone or in person? Just wondering, with all this defending that you did, did you ever stand up even once openly on the forum to shack the biggest badger/basher of all and tell her she was inappropriate and totally wrong about your nh friends?? Just wondering.

You stated that you have been here for several years which is probably when I stopped posting and viewing any forum. I was going through my own personal tragities. The loss of my husband, sister, and best friend within a 6 month period. With having young children whom were deeply affected by this I put my focous on them because my children come before anyone. Iam not out trying to correct any history. As I said in the past I have posted with compassion for the people of NH. Unfortunately with everything that was being said I dont think anyone ever noticed my postings with the good things I had to say about the people from NH. Sorry Citigirl, I have to raise the bullshiz flag. With the exception of the past few months, I have read here since the beginning. I have had exchanges with you , so I am very familiar with you. You have NEVER defended the people of NH. The ducks would have eaten you alive! And just like your ducks, you are throwing your personal reasons into the mix. Sorry, not buying it. In addition, Mr Renner does not to my knowledge post here, so take your gripes to his blog. And if you don't like what you are reading, there is a big red X on the right hand corner of your browser. Feel free to hit it. We live in America, Mr Renner & Topix posters have every right to discuss Maura Murray.

They always need someone to use as a scapegoat. No denying, Shack is v.v.(vile vermin) who as all subterranean creatures emerges occasionally from under her rock, poops on Topix, then scurries back into her little hole. But it was Helena Murray who gave Shack a forum on which to spew her poison. Helena was working under the direction of Fred ie impugn the NH locals, but do not ever ask about Amherst or anything related to Maura before the evening of Feb 9. Renner is digging, digging, digging. He is interested in finding out the truth. He has stirred up a hornet's nest. Poor man. They will tear him to shreds or at least try to.

Actually, the Hadley crash occurred, despite the crash report, at the intersection of North Hadley Road and Roosevelt St. N. Maple St. simply, at no obvious point, becomes Roosevelt. It's an easy and insignificant mistake to make, even for a police officer. Regarless of assertions to the contrary, the intersection can be a little confusing for someone driving west on N. Hadley and not familiar with it, especially at night. I drive through that intersection a few times a week. The way it's arranged, someone could easily drive right across Roosevelt from N. Hadley and into the guard rail. The red blinking stop light is on the west side of Roosevelt, almost inviting some drivers to continue past the stop sign at the end of N. Hadley. Above is not too important, but thought it was worth keeping things a little more precise.

I have often wondered who called police considering Mauras friend said she left her cell phone at her dorm.

I have often wondered who called police considering Mauras friend said she left her cell phone at her dorm. There are several houses not far from the intersection, but there are none exactly next to it. The nearest houses are a very short walk away. I don't know when the houses nearest the intersection were built, but some of them may have gone up since 2004. It's all wetland on both sides of the end of N. Hadley, east side of Roosevelt. Behind the guard rail, on the west side of Roosevelt, is all wetland, too. Next time I drive through, probably today, I'll try to remember to check the proximity of the houses. I'm unaware of any photos, but as you approach the intersection (i.e., headed west on N. Hadley) the flashing red light is actually on the same plane as the guard rail, which are both across Roosevelt from the stop sign at the end of N. Hadley. If you were driving along at about 35-50 mph and didn't see the stop sign first, you might just keep on going up to the red flashing light, meaning your front end would be making friends with the guard rail. If there was any ice or lots of sand, then rather close friends with the guard rail. I don't believe the configuration of the intersection is of any significance, but maybe someone else can see something in it that matters. The only significance I can see is that it's the last place in the Amherst area that the public definitely knows Maura was at. Again, even a sober person (unfamiliar with the intersection) could have run the stop sign and slammed head-on into the guard rail. Happens occassionally. If Maura was driving under, it apparently was not enough to get arrested. While there is no real excuse for running this stop sign, the unusual placement of the flashing red light does beg a little forgiveness.

As the time fixed for the assault drew near, the two chiefs, Kankamagus and Mesandowit, brought their followers to within striking distance of the village. Indian cunning was then set to work. On Thursday evening, June 27, 1689, two squaws went to each of the five garrisons and asked to sleep there that night.
