That poster didn't know that the cumberland sighting may've been ruled out. It was included in the series for some reason, while other, more important things weren't. That witness in line said it looked like the man (with Maura) was possibly in construction. I don't think much of it myself, and the person took it back. BUT after awhile, an abductor might let a victim roam around some. IF it were possible that someone could run away after I kidnapped them, I'd make them come with me too. Better than leaving them in the car while I pay for gas. Why risk them running off for help?

From Ledyard's blog: "nhrider says: November 8, 2013 at 9:40 AM Holy Crap!! I almost crapped my pants! Tom is legit. I just got back from the Pemi overlook and I found the black backpack but there was nothing inside it. It was frozen solid. The only visible markings I could see was “Motor bags”. The bag also had a clear plastic on the backside. I also saw a can of Bud in a blue Koozi that said Alcoa. There is a huge rock directly behind the bathroom and that is where I entered . It is very very dense and really not a path. I almost immediately set my eyes on the backpack. The only other thing that I saw was a Tupperware sort of thing (blue top) and that was under the shelf of the rock and I also saw one of those nestle type plastic bottles (lg)." Of course, "nhrider" is JWB. I just find it a bit curious that, considering this was a bit of a big discovery regarding Tom's backpack sighting, why you didn't also post about it here? Just wondering.

The owner of the stolen credit card number stated she never ordered from Papa Ginos and Maura claimed that she did not order from Papa Ginos either, but there was a cc charge for $5.50 for Papa Ginos. Likely not a delivery either given the small amount. Maura claimed ownership to the other charges, so likely she would have admitted this charge as well. Would be interesting to see who signed that cc slip at Papa Ginos.

Reason I ask is I've heard of people saying they were at X and such place, but cell records show a different story. Sometimes the person did not call/recieve on their cell, but the towers connect to them somehow. They are a tracking device of sorts. According to his affidavit, New Hampshire State Police officer Todd Landry was informed by a “representative from Sprint Corporate Security … that during the late afternoon hours of February 9, 2004 an outgoing telephone call was made to [Maura] Murray from ... within a 22 mile radius of the [Londonderry, NH Sprint] tower.” His affidavit makes no mention of a "ping." I am not being critical of you. I just keep seeing the word "ping" causing confusion.

Sooo MM was going to be cited for the Hadley accident after all? Interesting if true as many of us always thought it strange she wasn´t.

Re backpack issue: Apparently Tom didn´t want to disclose his reasons for posting his find online and why he waited so long to do so. I´m not surprised.

It looks like he is saying that they were about to charge her if she hadn't disappeared in Haverhill "Spoke to Hadley Police Officer Mark Ruddock today. He was the police officer who responded to Maura's crash in Hadley, Mass, which occurred after a night of excessive drinking. According to Ruddock, Maura would have likely been cited for failure to control her vehicle if she hadn't have disappeared shortly thereafter. Getting a misdemeanor likely would have impacted Maura's deal with the courts related to credit card fraud. When asked why he did not charge her with DUI that night, Ruddock hung up on me."

So it appears we (many of topix posters) were right all along. Maura would very likely have been kicked out of school, been unable to pursue a nursing career and possibly ended up in jail b/c being on probation for cc fraud. She had all the reasons to want to leave her old life behind. She also had reason to be suicidal.

Also had a good reason if she was getting kicked out of school to find a place to live that was far enough away as to not have to tell her friends - and friends family why she isn't in school.

Since the beginning of time in the world of cell phones, for mobile phones to work they have to be in regular contact with cell towers, so when handsets are on, they emit signals (called "pings") to nearby cell towers every few minutes to let the network know where they are.

He can't answer you now he is speaking to the cast from "Finding BigFoot" and giving them the hair sample he found. And where ever that hair sample is found I assure that is because "squatches are known" to be (where the hair is) looking for food. Not only do they know bigfoot exists, but they also know what the thing eat.
