I would love for Maura to be alive and living happily in the White Mountains. I just wonder why she couldnīt just have quit school, broke up with Billy and moved north to start a family or whatever she wanted to do openly, especially if her dad knew about it anyways. And why keep up the searches, working with PIs etc if he knows? Couldnīt he even be made responsible for LEīs expenses? I wonder if Renner interviewed the RA on Mauraīs floor at UMass, who was said to have found out about Maura using someone elses credit card? Maybe s/he confronted her and thatīs why she fled?

Fred never allowed his PI's to do research, let alone dig, in Amherst, this may be one of the reasons why he didn't. And the MMM forum's beloved 'Weeper' one of Fred's PIs who called SBD a 'shitbag' and went to his Florida home? Wasn't it Weeper's job to find out this possibly important background info? As for Baghdadi - I believe him. He has no axe to grind. He is now married and has a baby. Renner seems to be now doing that which should have been done 7 years ago but was forbidden by Fred. I have to wonder why it was forbidden. perfect example...EWB's reading of the bible according to "Weeper". planting seeds and watering them until, finally, she stopped. much appreciation to Leatherman for calling her out on her repeated nonsense.

Maura's outward response to whatever news she received was highly emotional and dramatic. something big happened in her life. her limited funds wouldn't seem to support quitting school and moving away from family and friends. something happened, and it would seem someone was involved in the planning, however spontaneous it might have been.

Maybe her dad would have supported her and her supposed child? And I guess the child, if there is one, would have a father?

Maura disappeared a little more than 36 hours after spending a night alone in a motel room with her father.

Because so much has centered in NH and if she is found alive, she/the family can be held responsible for reimbursement to the state. If you head out into the wilds in NH ill prepared, and they have to search, you get the bill now. I'm still curious about the red truck though.

Cpl McKay was a member of the Franconia Police Dept when Maura went missing. He hadn't been employed in Haverhill for some time. To my knowledge he has absolutely nothing to do with MM missing except to add some more juicy gossip. Do you mean the red truck with MA plates that was seen at the store? I doubt Butch was afraid of anyone IMHO. And no one can even say with any certainty that Maura was even picked up by anyone.

It must have been a very long list Snowy as red was a very popular color back then with Fords and Dodge's. LOL

Exactly! Big enough for her to give up everything and head to the NH mountains in an unreliable car in the middle of the winter. I think if Renner can find out what upset her so badly that night it might add several missing pieces to the puzzle.

Yes, I mean the red truck that was seen at the store which had out of state plates (one witness said Mass. plates and the red truck that was seen on Bradley Hill Rd (definitely with Mass. Plates) sitting on the side of the road. Were they one in the same? Probably. Related to Maura's disappearance? Possibly. also, the police were instructed to pull over red trucks later that evening. Why is that?

Did the poster find that FM owned a red truck? Robinsordway interacted with a red truck with MA plates near the "accident" scene very near the time of the incident. MM to SBD - her words to him could be interpreted as saying "Go away, get lost, do not call AAA, I have my made arrangements for X to pick me up." Who is X ?

Why is that? If the red truck that was supposedly stopped at the top of BH by the driveway to the log cabins was the same one that a certain person claiming to be a PI said was walked next to by a lady walking a dog then I have to say I don't believe it ever happened, nor that there was any red truck pulled over on BH. I am doubting just about everything we have been told in the past. As more and more truth comes to light I believe the past red herrings will fill a dump truck. I do believe a red truck with MA plates was seen by RO at the store. Looking did anyone actually see a police report about red trucks being pulled over? I could be wrong but I thought someone said other color vehicles including a green truck were also pulled over. Another red herring???

It was evident that she wanted no help that night. There were 5 houses within her sight and her car was pretty much on the front lawn of one of them. She chose to start walking away from civilization. Did she already have help of her own coming or waiting for her somewhere? I doubt we'll ever know but I'm hoping she did and somewhere she is happy and at peace.
