Insanity rules wrote: <quoted text> Bill, I forgot You are always right. You have Your opinion and I have mine. STOP berating people Mr. right. LOL I would suggest you crash your car. Leave a couple of open alcohol containers around in plain sight. Then take off and call the cops. Hide nearby and see what the reaction is. Don't be amazed when they don't start sending out search parties and BOLO's and start linking up satellites and put up roadblocks to find you. Just another person trying to avoid a DUI. And the best part is. If anyone was stupid enough to do such things, then you would be bitching about how they couldn't respond to little Timmy, with a tiny wood splinter in a timely manner because all assets were out looking for Maura. LOL. Ten years later and they still want to believe what they want to believe. That is fine. Just don't try to convince people who know. Another person without a clue about what we see and how often and how public safety reacts to it. Bill

Insanity rules wrote: NO BOLO was put out right away.....! Dropped the ball on this one for sure. NO SEARCH that night east of Bradley Hill rd. If they DID put out a BOLO right away, you're right, why didn't it include the easterly direction? An acceptable answer would be that they already knew about something amiss. Some claim a previous siting/previous accident,(slipping off the road but regaining ability to drive off, before police got to said female) RO says when she got to her street an officer slowed down and said "oh, it's you" Officer knew who she was, but he was looking for someone on foot too. The question is this-why was it down that way instead of the other? I'm wondering if someone did report seeing her walk back, or in a car heading back toward the store. I'll try to find a link. I may have been misled,-in fact, I wouldn't doubt it anymore. I mean no ill to CS. He did his job and stayed at the scene a LONG TIME until he was called away. I think people should be told (if not reminded) that he DID get lost in that confusing area of swift water this, swift water that.. And that's ok, it was not the idea or point anyhow, please. It was just that the two vehicles, his police car and the truck were seen rushing by the Stage Stop store at the same time, according to RO who made that statement. My point was more like this. It takes about one minute to drive to the Weathered Barn corner. Somebody got there first, and the last person to openly say,(and is on record), said she saw Maura 1 or 2 minutes before that. Thanks and no hard feelings to you at all.

Why the big mystery? Isn't this in SOCO, that a cottage hospital worker saw that. That someone else saw the car door open. Maybe one in the same or two individuals driving by at different times. One said no one was there. When FW was on the phone, she saw a door open and someone sitting. Another passerby may have seen that too. I don't think of this part as a mystery or a problem.

I don't remember ever seeing where she said she saw the door open or that someone driving by saw it open. Where did you see that paris? Maybe I missed it.

A perfect example of the pot calling the kettle black. What is it that you think we should ask Mr M? You had better go read your post #44463 before you blame someone else for trying to defame people.

I think your disgusting remark was totally uncalled for.

A BOLO was put out shortly after the accident at 1954 to the responding units which is commonly done. Cars going off the road in the winter and the driver leaving happens often especially if booze is involved. To think that for every one of these accidents that a full blown search by foot and air should be done immediately is beyond ridiculous.

To think that for every one of these accidents that a full blown search by foot and air should be done immediately is beyond ridiculous. WHAT! This has happened before? I don't know Wowzer. I remember the good old days when shack thought that every emergency vehicle and all search personnel would be called in for miles around. And that because that didn't happen, there was negligence. And if it that wasn't policy, it should be. Those were heady times. Most after it was explained of course understood, but not some. Some insisted that we needed full immediate call-outs for all accidents when the driver runs away. Some continued to insist, but again, it does my heart well to know that most people are reasonable and understand the absurdity of that action. The toll it takes on rescuers and how eventually they will just stop coming out. At some point, personal responsibility has to kick in. Bill

paris wrote: <quoted text> Yes, and didn't they put out a BOLO right away-only to say maybe Fred was driving- BOLO #2 was an updated description of MM The BOLO that was put out right away was to the responding units for a female about 5'7" on foot and the victim of a crash. That information was most likely gotten from the SBD after the officer talked to him.

Fred Murray: "It's a road to Barlett where I'm sure she was going 'cause she knows it like her backyard,'cause we were in New Hampshire so much, at least four times a year. She was up there every year of her life." -WMUR 10 year MM Anniversary 2014 Special Report Some points to ponder... Where does NH RTE 112 connect Bartlett, NH to Hanson, MA (southeast Massachusetts)? Isn't 93 or 16 a better choice of route? Did the Murrays frequent the Haverhill, NH area often during vacations and drive to Bartlett, NH (using rte 112)? Why doesn't Fred use his "dirt-bag" line during the interview? Why doesn't Fred explain his whereabouts from the time of MM's disappearance until the noontime chat with Haverhill PD the day after? Thank You.

Thank You. If they were familiar with the route to Bartlett they would have known that the most direct route into Bartlett from 112 would have been through Bear Notch Road .Bear Notch Rd is closed and gated in the winter time. You would have to follow the Kank to the end, go through Conway, then North Conway and loop back around to get to Bartlett from 112 in the winter. Easiest and safest way would have been to follow 302 up through Bethlehem and Twin Mountain and into Bartlett IMHO. If she knew the area like her back yard then I would think she would have known this.
